Well that sucks Brian but there are some pretty good healthy recipes out there, Hell I even cook a few of them here from time to time. It was Gumbo Brian, I've not ever tried my hand at jambalaya, I should do so one cold snowy day this winter.

Gumbo it was and it was delish. I got into it so quickly I never grabbed a picture. Perhaps tonight, there's lots left over.

Any guesses? Hint, I made this dish 5 days ago and had enough leftover raw ingredients to make it again, including a dark Roux This time however I decided to give the 3 proteins a smokey BBQ flavouring ahead of assembling the dish. Another hint, the Holy Trinity is ready to sweat and the Basmati Rice is patiently awaiting my efforts.

I'll go out on a limb with the information provided that if the parts are available it can absolutely be rebuilt. Lower units are built to be entirely replaced and or rebuilt independent of the top end.

Well Barry, best wishes on your hunt but as far as the snow goes, ya can have it. Great for hunting not so much for dog walking in shorts and a T shirt like I had here today as Weeds noted above. I'll take it every time it's offered. I'm just in from my fourth walk of the day with the dogs and some Frisbee time. In fact I shut down the furnace and opened the windows for the day.....damn lovely it was. Nice rack you got there (wink, wink), please forgive me for counting the number of reel seats I see there. 😆

Thanks for the offer Albert but for this task a machine lathe is the way to go. Thank you Sir, what's shown in the pictures is about an hours work. A complete handle for this build will take about 3-4 hours by the time it's installed onto the blank.
