Not sure what any of us should expect but I know when I do a fishing report it's nice to see what people think but it's not necessary , I've had a few PM's or email's from people I know & don't know, saying that until they saw my reports they never thought that you could do so good in that cold of water for smallies, after slowing down their presentation they had better success , the more people that share the more information people will get out of this forum & I would be like a lot of others not enough time to post on every good topic I see , being on about 8 or 12 other forums, 3 kids, 2 grand kids, job, 3 fishing clubs etc etc Just my 2 cents Richard

Mines a BPS Charger works great & a buddy has one of their 2 bank chargers & it works great too Richard
-
I bought a 3 bank charger for my 14' boat last year mounted it under my casting deck I built for the front & wish I would have bought it years ago, 1 plug does all the batteries instead of trying to doe them all separate, I have a 24 v 75 lb Motor Guide Wireless & a battery for my live well & electronics Works for Me Richard

I've been Canoeing a lot of local rivers for the last 30+ years & the most helpful thing I used would be a Fishing rod holder, especially if you want to be trolling & get 2 so your partner has 1 too, nothing like a youngster that's bored trolling a floating Rapala or a spinnerbait & having a 2-4 lb smallie hit their lure & be jumping behind the canoe to get them fired up, I always kneel while canoeing & only had a trolling motor on the canoe once & just mounted right on the gunnels no bracket needed, accidents happen quickly keep your center of gravity as low as possible & if you want to catch more fish drift down backwards as your bait is presented more naturally if your casting, can't wait to get out this spring with my grand daughter Richard

Not going to try telling anyone what to do, but what works for me is, I'm right handed, spincast right hand reel, spinning left hand reel, baitcast started right hand reel bought a Speed Master Shimano new many moons ago, went to buy a Calcutta from Jos at Fishing Plus years ago & he said buy a 151 left or buy it some where else & he was serious, knowing he was cheaper by quite a bit he figured I'd buy it & I did, I could have kicked his the 1st couple times I used it but then it clicked & I now have about 30 baitcast reels likely 1/2 left & 1/2 right & wouldn't have it any other way, I believe at the end of the day I'm not as sore or tired as my buddies that just use right handed reels, new to flipp'n & frog'n last year I used a left hand reel & won't be switching back any time soon, My 2 cents & not from an expert, but works for me Richard

I for one don't like the idea of a 20lb carp jumping out of the water & smacking me in the head while I go down the lake at any speed & if I want to bow fish for them I'd go to the States to do it, lets hope they don't make it here Richard

After defending themselves any way possible if someone calls them a wussy or sissy tell them to kick their butt tooo, end of problem. One of my daughters friends ( no father figure around) had a problem over 10 yrs ago at school with a group of kids always kicking, throwing things at her, pushing, my daughter asked what she should do, so I said grab them by the throat kick them were it hurts or punch in the nose, then I went to the school & talked to the teacher & principal, told them what I told her & they said I couldn't tell her that, I said if she does it they better talk to me before they punish her & if they couldn't get it under control maybe I would visit the parents of all the kids & do the same to them, problem solved I think they told the parents what I said, defend your family & friends more then you would yourself Richard
