  1. That was very Neat to see, saw one on BOQ at the Fed Cup Oct 2-3/10 it was in a big Bay with hooves in the air & fairly bloated, looked like Weeds got it, it was on the edge of a thick weed bed Richard

  6. I don't use bait for fishing but if I did I'd likely try circle hooks, anything I've heard about them makes it sound like they eliminate deep hooking pretty much, any one use them much Richard

I've never released a dead fish so I know I'm not breaking the law & if you cut the line or hook as close as you can, release it & it swims away neither did you, but if you kept the fish because you think it's going to die, you are breaking the law & unless you tag the fish or put a transmitter in it you can't say you know it was going to die, lots of examples posted here proving you wrong, hooks in live wells, coming out there butt Richard

  15. Sounds like an enjoyable day on the water, no rain or wind bonus, this week looks bad over my way Tues S 50 km/hr Wed SW 50 km/hr Thurs SW 45 km/hr Fri N 25 km/hr & Saturday S 15 km/hr no big water fishing this week, hopefully Sat. isn't bad on Lake Huron I'd like to go back out there Richard

The one in the picture was hooked beside the mouth on a Strike King Red Eye shad white & the second one we caught was in the back fin, way to much slime & smell on them to keep trying for them, but it didn't smell as bad as the Gar we caught in the summer Thanx for the replies even the Atlantic one

  20. I didn't notice any spots but it was very slippery & quite hard to hold on too, here's a picture of it's mouth
  21. There was a school of fish swarming the surface so I threw a crank bait over a caught this, it put up a nice fight Not sure how many we caught but it was non stop pretty much all day 20" Smallie 5lbs 11 oz Moe's nicest one of the day Hope you enjoyed the pictures

Out on Lake Huron for a few hours yesterday afternoon, Bass Magnet Tubes & Frostie Tube Jigs, 1st Smallie is 20.75" 6.03lbs on a buddies Normark scale got there just before it started raining at least it was a warm rain, meeting up with 3 buddies to go try things out again today Richard I'm not sure but this mark looks like a Lamprey mark any thoughts, very lively smallie out of the water 2' a couple of times & two mean runs under the boat before I netted it
