what a day! thats all i can say. me and my dad and one of my close buddies planned a fishing trip to go catch some fall eyes. we origionally decided to go to sturgeon lake but last minute we had this feeling thaty it was right to go to rice lake. and so we did. we arrived in bewdley really early and saw dozens of boats ready to launch and some people renting boats. we decided we were going to rent a boat and try and help my buddy catch his first ever walleye. we got out there and there wasnt a ripple on the water, ive never seen rice lake that calm before. immediatley we picked a random spot and within 5 minutes he had his first walleye. from that fish on, we were catching them noin stop. we ended the day catching over 13 walleye and lost about 7 or 8. the average size was about 20 inches. my buddie ended up catching 3 i caught 7 and my dad caught 3. fromn not catching any walleye in his whoile life he ended up with 3 in a matter of 15 minutes. im so glad my dad took him with us. every single fish was caught on a jighead and minnow fishing tight to bottom. here was one of the bigger guys of the day. :)my friend is in the green.

went up to upper buchorn lake for 2 days at a friends cottage to do some muskie and bass fishing and we had a greatt time. in the total of the 2 days we only managed about a tatal of 8 hours of fishing due to all of the wind, rain and lighting. we went out saturday night and withing 20 minutes(not joking) we boated 3 muskie and one of them was caugh on my dads bass rod. i think we found the honey hole i was the only 1 out of 3 of us that was actually targeting muskie. the others were fishing bass. we caught several bass as well. the first muskie was caught by me on a white joe bucher shallow raider and the next one was caught 5 minutes after on an all white husky jerk (caught by my dad)it was the same size as the first musky shown, not even 10 muntes later i caught my pb musky on a black and orange dbl cowgirl. overall i say oit was a good weekend here are some pictures, and we didnt get a measurement on the big guy we wanted to get a picture and put him in the water asap.

i havent been out this year yet but last year i hit about half a dozen walleye in one day along with some bass, pike and over 70 catfish. dont know a lot of spots but jigheads and worms and tube jigs. pumpkin colour will catch pretty much anything in that lake.

i went a year ago or so and actually went inside the water up to our hips and caught lots of perch, rockbass and pumpkinseeds. there is bass and pike but they absolutly have tons of huge carp. everytime we were in the water they would come right beside our feet but we were never able to hookup with one. we tried corn and everything

i would go with a shimano compre like stated above
