  1. From the north end I fished all the way to the dead island in the center. On the left hand side. Found very little weeds. Managed oos bass and tons of perch. No pike. Interesting lake. I'll probably fish it again next week. Only reason why I launched from the north is because it was the closest to me. The guys didn't want to drive further south
  2. It seems as if that ends really shallow. Would I be best to launch elsewhere?
  3. I was on gull today, managed one trout but didn't fish long. Driving down to couchiching tomorrow. Where's the closest launch to the north side? Couldn't find much. Will be put for pike. Thanks
  4. Changed my mind. Heading to couchiching. Still unfamiliar but I'll find em. Thanks for the help guys
  5. Rigged on an alabama rig, works wonders
  6. Ya I figured, being part of the Trent and all. I've done well on kashe so hoping its similar. If you don't mind pm'ing me general areas, it be greatly appreciated. I normally always fish the kawarthas but I figured pike would be an easier catch then walleye so I don't bore my guests
  7. Its not that I'm worried about. Worried about my rods. And having to fix and retie everyone's lines and teaching them how to cast. I'll be in a lund impact, if I see you I'll wave. Its the first time I fish this lake. I'll prob be on the west side
  8. I might be out there sat trying my luck for pike. Might be a brutal day as my brothers coworkers 3of em have never fished before and are tagging along
  9. I'll be taking 3 guys who have never fished before lol. Should be a fun time.....I'm thinking couchiching for pike and if they don't cooperate, try for some pan fish.
  10. Sweet combo. I just bought the same rod. My first quality musky rod. Also the proper version of the reel. A lefty. Haha
  11. Thanks for the info. I'll be bringing my lund w/115. I noticed some of those smaller lakes have restrictions. I think I may just trek back down to the kawarthas because I'm familiar with them. I'm up their for 3 days. Might just try my luck jigging on gull or clear the second day.
  12. Yes, its off of hwy 35. Thanks, I'll look that area up.
  13. I believe its 11. By minden
  14. Going to a friends cottage, on the long weekend. Its on clear lake, but they told me gull lake is just down the street. Not familiar with this area but from I can see its predominantly a bass/trout lake. I couldn't catch a trout if my life depended on it, would rather fish for walleye/pike. Would my best bet be to drive down to the kawarthas or are their lakes close by to where ill be staying? Not looking for any spots, just a lake reccomendation. I always fish the kawarthas and wouldn't mind trying a new place out. Thanks
  15. Let me know how they turn out. Might pick some up on my next order
  16. I catch lots of musky and big walleye while fishing for bass in the kawarthas. Even pan fish on a 1/2oz

  20. Anyone ever try komanchi spinnerbaits? I want to try them. 18 bucks a piece is stopping me lol
  21. Nice fish. Nothing wrong with the music lol, just throw her on mute if it bothers you.
  22. Awesome. I bet on Belcher. Pretty sweet odds. All palhares has is leg locks
  23. Go Diaz. Not sure why barry gave up the full mount. Lavar is a joke on the ground
