  1. Killing the bass with squarebills and lipless cranks. Spinnerbaits being a close second. Shallow and deep, seem to be scattetered all over
  2. Was pretty good. Not crazy numbers. But it was a day out none the less. Took two of the smaller pike home. A lot of hammer handles, biggest being 33". A few nice lm biggest being 3 lb. A few dink sm, I've tried numerous spots but can't seem to find the bigger ones. Water wasn't as bad as I thought, although this was the first time I fully drained my group 31s on my terrova.
  3. How did you guys make out? Caught a few nice lm, biggest being a tad over three. Small mouth were all dinks. A few pike, biggest 32". Dad kept two of the smaller ones to eat. Was pretty rough out. First time I fully drained my two group 31s on my terrova.
  4. We've decided to go. If you end up going I'll be in a Lund impact with a few guys. Say hi.
  5. I still may go. 50:50 lol
  6. Any input? 45km gusts now. Looks like I'll be staying home
  7. Nice fish. Does it really take two hours to land lol
  8. Want to get out Sunday, will 25km west winds affect this area? Not sure whether it's worth the trip. Seems pretty sheltered
  9. Buuuongo, bad signing if true
  10. 2 PC just came out. I picked up the telescopic. Goes from 9 ft to 7'6 as my boat only stores a max of 8'
  11. I just bought the telescopic 9' xh split handle. Works great for double tens.
  12. Village Marine. 20 bucks
  13. Good to know, I already purchased the full fed map version. Nice charts. That and avionics made navigation simple. Oh and the low water levels.
  14. I was in north and south bay. Was enough water to cover for my first time on gbay. South bay we managed tons of largemouth. A few in 3-4lb range. 5 pike for the day, biggest being 8lbs. North bay was pretty unproductive. Didn't mark many fish either. Tried out my new musky rod for a bit, ti xh 9'. Awesome rod for throwing double tens. Really nice area. I'll definitely be back.
  15. What marina is good to launch from in the area? Might try it tomorrow
  16. I managed a fair amount of bass, nothing over 2lbs. Lots of keeper perch and Two small pike last sat. Was thinking Simcoe again tomorrow but I think I'm going to hit up honey harbour
  17. Rather keep my non touch hds gen 2's. And yes the side scan is built in.
  18. I'll be out saturday Also. Have done well on couchiching. Great numbers but nothing of great size
