DanC, I was thinking the same thing about Bountyhunter that it might be a steelhead but was not 100% sure. Your friend Beamish always enter some nice catches. I figure you didn't enter because the way they run it and we all here on the board have seen your pics. It not all about the size (LOL) Cliff mention it best "it was just a honour to be nominated"

This has to be the longest report that I have read from the board. I don't know how much time I spent but it was well worth it and interesting. I really felt I was there, great job on the pics and report.

Love catching those crappie and there are time they are so hard to find, then JACKPOT! Didn't catch many last year and most of them were dinks. The best day was 100+ and kept only 10 decent slabs.

How do they set the fines? After reading the Fishing News section, a Toronto man gets $4,500. fine with 53 rainbow trout and then a Thunder Bay guy gets a total fine of $10,600. for $6,000. for 30 walleyes and $4,600. for 23 brook trout. Same total of 53 fish, please explain how this works???

Nice looking eye Greg. It's been awhile, maybe 5-7 years since we caught walleye from Simcoe. We get them in the spring while we are pike fishing and they are from cooks bay around 5-6 lbs.

Why has the government approve of "Family Day" and NOT have "Remembrance Day" as a Stat day. I think our war vets who fought for our country and paided with their lives deserve this honour! It just doesn't seem right.

Anyone on the board know how to fizz a fish? I have caught perchs from simcoe during ice-fishing and they have their air bladder coming out of there mouth. I have slow down to bring them up so they will not have the bends. Also on deeper lakes, I have had afew the same way with other fish. 30+ feet and deeper.
