  1. And this is what I end up with lol And a ton of information. Thinking about going out for some pike in Longpoint Bay tomorrow.... Should be fun!
  2. I know it's off topic, but is there an official lakeair 2008 information thread yet? Can't seem to find one.
  3. Well... I have an answer... The best way to remove the stickers is to tell your girlfriend exactly what you need to do, and then come home 3 hours later to find she had done it! She said she used a heat gun, a plastic scraper, and then goo gone. Now I just have to buy her dinner and we are even lol
  4. Thanks for all the responses... I'm going to try the heat gun method tomorrow, I'll post pictures of how it turned out later....
  5. Well, I'm trying to take the old registration numbers off the boat. I'm out here with a pastic scraper and a hairdryer, and they aren't coming off easy. Anyone have any tried tested and true methods? I don't want to damage the paint underneath or I would just get out my propane torch lol Would a heat gun work better perhaps? I've got goo gone, thought about scoring the stickers and putting that on, but like I said don't want to scratch the paint underneath...
  6. Spectacular, but not a place I would call home... Maybe just Winter Home lol I really like all the glass though, it's beautiful. I like the concept of the room hanging out over the ravine... that would be an amazing view
  7. If you're a cheapass like me, then you may want to consider shopping bags from either ikea or sobeys... They work awesome... and cost like 2 bucks each lol
  8. This is an Example of SPAM lol
  9. That's true, don't need the boat and trailer passing us at a stop sign lol
  10. Pretty much the same advice I'm PM'd you... It's not always about price. Service is way more valuable, something the megahosts and the bigbox companies are taking away from customers.
  11. That could very well be what happened. It was not towing very nice for the first half hour or so, then it started to behave. It wasn't overheating or anything, but it did have jitters. Going to take the trailer in just to be sure though... This thing is huge... Way bigger then I thought, hopefully Nicole's Sportrac can pull it to, but I am not sure...
  12. Well, I picked up the boat tonight... what a beaut... I had a hard time towing it at the start, it seemed my truck was really stuggling. I usually always tow with overdrive off, which I did tonight of course, but when I'm on the highway I do turn the cruise control on. Tonight when I first started home it was very lungy and shifty. I was really worried that something was either wrong with the trailer or worse, my truck. I pulled over and checked the wheels on the trailer, everything seemed fine(it was almost like there was a siezed wheel or something) Anyways, my truck has pulled heavy things before(30 foot air stream), but tonight was really scarry. After about 20 minutes it seemed fine... could hardly tell the boat was there... Any thoughts on what it could be? I'd like to think it was just my truck and boat getting to know each other. All is good now... here are some pictures of the boat... can't wait to get it in the water...
  13. You sound so Zen there Mike lol
  14. I got started drinking Export and 50 at parties, people would always seem to scam you out of a Canadian or a Blue, but they would never touch, Ex, 50, or Black label lol I guess it just kinda stuck on me...
  15. Probably been discussed here many times, but I'm just curious as to what everyones favour beer is. Here are my top 3: Guinness Draft(can's are okay, but not bottles) Molson Export Alexander Keith's Of course, when I'm driving my boat it's water or diet pepsi
  16. Thanks, that link was helpful
  17. I've been searching on google, but not coming up with helpful information. We are supposed to pickup our new to us boat this week, and I would like to know how I'm supposed to check the boat for liens against it. I know it's something we have to do, but still a little unsure...
  18. Passion, that's for sure... He MADE us attend his Dipsey Diver Theory 101 course lol You can never go wrong when you deal with someone that is in his business for love.... I haven't had that much fun in a fishing store in a long time....
  19. Hey I'm a leaf fan, but seriously getting tired of next year!!!
  20. Just letting everyone know that Angler's Outfitters in Woodstock has a new location. It's bigger then before, don't know if the selection could get much better, but it's all much easier to find. Went in there to buy a dipsy rod, came out with a little more, but not much. Nicole and I had a nice lesson in how to use our dipsey's more effectively, super nice guy, great prices. I can't see why people bother going to big box stores to get fishing tackle when you get better stuff for the same or cheaper prices from the local guys. I held off buying at BPS yesterday just so I could check out his new store... Support Your Local Fishing Store
  21. great report guys... can't wait to get out there myself!!!
  22. Thanks it all came down to price really, got an almost completely outfitted used boat for a little less money. I still loved the look and the features of the Trackers though, I was at BPS today checking them out, the Targa's are really nice, but out of my price range. Can't wait to get the new to me boat home Pictures to follow!!!
  23. Definately a guy I would love to see in any jersey besides a Leaf one... he's been a Goat for a long time lol
  24. I ended up going with a PolarKraft, thanks for all the advice!!!
  25. I really like the Pro Guide... going to look at them in more detail tomorrow. It's everything I want in a boat, and the price is something I can handle(although the top end lol)
