I know down here on Lake Erie we caught lots of wild steelhead when in past years you could tell they were stocked. I know this has nothing to do with Lake O. It's quite likely these steelhead spawn in ohio, pennsylvania or new york

I've got a few electricians at work I might talk to. Maybe they would be nice enough to help me out. Looking at how some of the wires are foil wrapped and others aren't tells me I'd rather a pro deal with it and show me how to do it. It looks a bit intricate.

they better alter the quality of the shadow raps or they will lose some customers for sure

The xraps are made a bit more durable IMO. Not to say it doesnt surprise me of they crack but these shadow raps are pure junk. Id rather fish the xrap now. Wish i wouldnt have used a broken lure all day and missed so many strikes...

Pay 13.99$ for a shadow rap deep 11 and use it for 2 days. Caught a couple nice smallies on it first day. 2nd day I realize that I'm casting it a mile. Fish it all day long caught 1 or 2 fish on it but notice that I am missing all my hits. Probably 10-15 strikes and couldnt hookup. Just figured it was one of those freak days. Then I have 2 big smallies following my bait went to pause it to get her to hit and the damn thing sunk like a stone and the smallie swiped at it and swam away. I checked it out and the bait was full of water. Went online and saw this was a common problem, I want to return in but is it worth it for shipping? Is rapala known for giving you more gear to makeup for shipping costs? Ive done this with strike king and they were happy to throw in some more baits to offset shipping, I can't believe rapala would throw these cheap things on the shelf. COME ON! Hope they fix the problem....

My mounting plate is fine. The screws ripped out of the mounting plate that connected the transducer to it. The mounting bracket has a small bend in it. Its quite possible something knocked it off. I cant make sense of it either

Big eff up yesterday. Totalscan transducer flew off the back of the boat yesterday. Wires were damaged by the prop but was able to save the transducer. Curious is this is fixable. Called angling outfitters, where i bought it from and i was told i am screwed. Just curious if anyone has had any luck repairing this? Should i even bother?

I posted about this a couple months ago. It's all about fine tuning the transducer mount. I had the same problem. You are getting air bubbles and turbulence underneath the transducer. I tilted mine down a bit and now i get readings up to 35-40mph. Start to lose my bottom at WOT close to 50 mph
