  11. Hi I am looking for some pike pointers for the wanapetei River near the beggining of the killarney highway. I seem to catch big Walleye and some smallies as big as 4pounds. But, I have not caught a pike there yet, which is totally opposite to the norm. If you have any tips please share.

  16. LOL, thats a slap in the face to the guy driving his bayliner at high speeds in front of my fishing spot.
  17. I am in total agreement dangler, all one needs to do is go down to the local bait shop, drop a few bucks and is able to fish to his content. Fishing licenses should be similiar to boater licenses, How is the new fisherman supposed to be able to tell the difference between pike and muskie or know what a slot size is, studying of course! Some people may even take fish out of season without even knowing it! Thanks, Tommy
  18. I was doing improvement on a friends camp and if I had nickel for every time I saw lure hit his or the neighbors boats and docks I'd be rich. But, cottagers don't own the water, it's just respectful, on the other hand if your skilled enough to not damage anything go ahead and cast near a dock as long as it's vacant.
  19. The anglers who were casting to a dock with kids swimming is completely irresponsible. But, as for the cottagers to drive by in there speed boats casting distance from me on a lake is completely innapropriate as well, thats just my two cents.
  20. That makes me pretty angry, Now my morning coffee is not as enoyable.
