Hi Everyone, Just going to drop a quick report…. Don’t have a lot of time to write a full report of the days happenings. But, we arrived Saturday morning to dirty water, Paul warned us the night before that we would be hitting Niagara on a not so favorable day. We were ok with that, we just wanted to get out! I have been out with Paul a few times before, my friend nelson has never been out on the Niagara from boat, he just has to hear me talk, talk & talk about it! We headed to our spot and before I could even set up Nelson dropped his line in for the first time and he hit bottom, one crank of the reel…. Fish on! A few seconds after dropping his line!! Paul & I couldn’t believe it.. even in the dirty water! Here is his fish…. That was a taste of what was to come for the day…we hit a fish every drift, sometimes two.. We were only out there for 4-5 hours due to a late start …we missed hits lost a few at the boat… here are the rest of the pictures, enjoy!! Joe

Heres a couple we got from the NY side yesterday, I love the flow on that side of the river!

i have orvis waders (bootfoot) 179 on sale... they came with thinsulate in the boots... i wear a thick pair of wool socks and these waders and i can stand waist high in water all day and be toasty warm... before i got these waders i put a pack of the small hand warmers in each boot, kept me nice and warm also... other then that i was doing the same you are fish for 10, walk for 5 so on and so forth..... good luck keeping warm

I use siglon F main line 10lb green. with a maxima 6 lb leader (depends on water conditions) i have used raven main line 10lb high viz line before and i didnt like it. not saying dont use it, but i didnt have a good expierence with it... so far this siglon has worked very well for me...

Brock is too slow????? lol brock is the quickest person i have seen at 265lbs.... the man has to cut weight to make heavyweight! I have honestly never seen a quicker true heavyweight... Brock's 2nd fight ever was against a former heavyweight champ Frank Mir. He got caught with a submission by an excellent fighter... 90% of people who fight Frank Mir lose by submission....Him losing was no surprise, but he did prove how quick and powerful he was to take Mir down and almost stop the fight... IMHO, randy will get the beat down... he is going to find how powerful Brock really is... Brock for the win!!

how does this fight lower UFC standards??? Brock is a heavyweight contender... but...I dont think he should have a title fight so soon, many men go a couple years and countless fights before they are even considered a contender... Now if Brock gets in the ring and grabs the mic and calls out randy and mir for a triple threat match....then maybe i would agree with you... anyways...Brock is way too strong for randy. Randy has not fought in a year, ring rust will be a factor IMO. I say brock wins by TKO in second round.. Some great fights coming up in UFC!!

Got out with Paul from cast Adventures on Saturday, Me and my buddy Brian decided we would bring our dads out and get them into some fish. My dad hasn’t been on a boat in over 40 years, so I made sure I brought a couple brown bags, just in case Turns out we didn’t need them! Here is the crew before we headed out! We brought in 6 lakers and 2 steelies. I hit the first fish of the day. Paul said “your gonna get one right about here” not 10 seconds later I hook into a nice steelhead…gave me a great fight, man they fight different in the fall then they do in the spring! From there on out we were hitting lakers, my buddy Brian with his 2 lakers for the day. Then I got into another big steelie. Ended up losing one just after as well, he was abit smaller maybe 4-5 pounds. Then we decided to go from a 4 person drift to 2 person drift , we seemed to hit a lot more fish this way….First up was the dads. My dad had lost a fish earlier and was determined to bring one in… then he yells “FISH ON!!” I think everyone on the river heard him lol… as hes fighting dave (Brians dad) yells out “Fish On!” and so begins the double-header! My dad brings in his first, a nice fat laker! And daves laker! Then dave lands 2 more lakers before we leave… he was on fire at the end of the day.. One of his lakers was missing an eye! Our fathers had a great time. I don’t get out much with my dad, it was nice to be out on the water with him, I haven’t seen him smile so much in a long time..… I will always remember this day…. And the take home: We had a great day out on the water.. This is my 4th trip with Paul there will be many more! For sure… P.S: All lake trout were released immediately after pics.
