Hi Everyone, Id like to take my fiancé out for some fishing on Saturday .weather permitting, don’t want to get into anything serious just to do some bobber fishing, I was looking up conservation areas around my place and found Christie lake conservation area, I noticed on their site it stated they had 9 stocked rainbow ponds and boats for rent…. Has anyone been fishing here before with family or friends? If so, any tips on where to fish? and if there are other good spots to take her fishing, please let me know Any help would be awesome thanks

  10. Hey Guys, Went out Saturday morning with Paul from Cast Adventures. Rain poured down once we got there @ 6am, which made for some intense fog in the morning… From there on it was clear skies until mid-afternoon. Hit a few fish in the first couple of drifts within the first hour, Then we put down the bottom bouncing rods and picked up the centre pins for some amazing Niagara center pin action! We set up around 9 and it was on, nailed fish for the rest of the day. We hooked up to 28 fish in 5 hours between the 3 of us on the pins, biggest was pushing 9 lbs. Bringing them in was tough with the strong current, but we managed. messin with the fisheye lens.. Around 3 the storm came in and kicked us off the river. rain hurts when your roaring down the niagara.. We had a great time out there with Paul. If you havent hit the niagara i highly recommend Paul from www.castadventures.ca, he knows his stuff, looking forward to next time Paul. Take Care, Joe
  11. amazing, thanks for posting that
  12. Got out fishing Sunday morning hit the niagara river. From 7:30 to 10 we had no luck, ran into Paul from Cast Adventures around 10:30 , having time to kill before his afternoon appointment , the nice guy he is invited me and my friend Brian aboard for a good hour or so. Brian and I have been out with Paul before so it was nice to get the chance to catch up while dropping a line in the water with him. We bought in 2 steelies, a sheephead, and lost 2 other steelies all within an hour. From shore, the afternoon proved more productive then the morning, we landed 2 steelies and lost 2 . we landed the exact same steelie that we caught earlier (same missing pectoral fin and stubby tail) nabbed a nice 27” laker, A nice 4lb OOS smallie, sheepshead, and a pretty big sucker. All caught on minnows. Getting on the boat for an hour made our day Paul…thanks again.. For anyone who wants to hit the Niagara, I highly recommend Paul at cast adventures , he’s a great guy, knows his stuff and gets you onto fish. camera died as i turned it on... go figure... heres a pic from home and one for team 2! dobee
