Interesting, wonder how long til they develop feet and exit the water

Father in law and I did a boat run up in angus, had a great morning. We both limited out quick. Tons of action in the first 30 mins. Had a 6 pound hen on my first cast, 3rd cast had a 7 pound hen that jumped 5 times clear out of the water, amazing fight!

I ended up grabbing the 3500 pound one from princess auto, was on sale for 199.99 not bad at all.

I’ve had some bearing issues over the years, I think the seats are worn down too much, and aren’t running straight they get hot. It’s easier just to replace the axle with new and not worry about it for awhile.

Guys, I'm looking at replacing the trailer axle on my boat trailer, few questions. Anyone know the weight of a 16 foot sylvan fishing boat with a 40 Merc? Would a 3500 pound axle be good enough? Where else do I get the axle except Princess Auto?

Yep, that’s why I’m not lol. But it would be a good idea if you could wait a couple years, buy it back in a couple years for half the price.

I’m tempted to sell my 16 foot 2001 sylvan with a 40 on it for more then I paid for it back in 2010 lol!

We were upgrading our 2018 Colorado to a 2021 Colorado this February, we built one from the factory then, however by may they were telling us because of the chip shortage and so on that it would be the fall til we got something. So we ended up finding a similar truck that someone didn’t end up taking in June.

For sure there will be some good deals on boats and trailers next year or the year after. we are looking for a seasonal camping spot probably next year somewhere, that will be hard to come by also.

Taking the family up camping near Huntsville this week starting Thursday. Was curious if anyone had any decent shore fishing spots in the area? On a side note, those that remember, Me and my boy caught a huge 6 pound bass last summer camping up in Parry Sound. Just got a call today that my replica is finally done from Advanced, picking it up Wednesday! Can't wait.

Family and I caught a bunch of good jumbos today on Simcoe. man is there a lot more boat traffic then usual… guess people bought boats. Tons of jet skis everywhere, and a bunch of idiots that flew by us when we were sitting and fishing within like 20 feet. The first fish bray reeling in was the 13 inch plus jumbo, his new personal best.

I kinda agree with that, but what if there is no Walmart or Costco in your local area? I don’t see people getting asked where they live when shopping. Your fishing outside for gods sake. My launches on simcoe are currently closed, so if I wanted to fish local I can’t lol. Hopefully very soon.

I second that, I’ve done that with a huge perch and have a huge bass being made right now.
