+1 thats how it worked for me.. but out of province .. they can do whatever they want really ... i used to deal with a car parts distro out of quebec, they stiffed me on a japanese front clip for my nissan silvia, i had no recourse .. kinda like dealing out of country ...

lol, i watched it for 2 minutes just now, and saw 4 different ppl do "the wakl" across the crossing. haha funny how an lp cover makes an intersection famous. lol.

If you got just of clarke rd (under that bridge, and towards the dam), I've got 5 walleye from in there this year, and a handful of bass ... westbound just outside town, under the westminster bridge, and towards the indian reserve, i've been wheeling 2lb'rs with the odd 2.5 3lb'r all year, every year ... cardiac hill in delaware(off adelaide in town there, theres a farm field you can park in--and walk down a big hill) .. there is gar pike, pike, bass, and walleye i've wheeled out of there this year so far. in town does suck, if you take hyde park rd. south of riverside, right to the end, you can walk down a path that runs in behind the thames golf course, there is pike, bass, and rediculously large carp down there ... to go east, you have to go the other side of the conservation area, been wheeling bass and pike that way too, off rebecca rd. in town at greenway park, right at the warm water output, there is always mad bass there, all pretty decent sizes too. my buddy has a porta boat, and we've trolled that stretch from wonderland, then back towards greenway, all the way past the train tressel, lots of bass inthere.

Just incase some of you dont have the World Fishing Network and are on Rogers Digital Cable ... I just saw a commercial for WFN(channel 424 i believe) ... Rogers is offering it free till August 24th..
-
On the trailer I just got with my boat, I labeled it as home made, so there was no tax to be payed .. if its commercial(or sold to you as a trailer), you have to pay tax on that when you register it for your plates ... but i didn't have to pay tax on the boat .. and the boat has to have reg. papers like any other vehicle.

The Android phones are just open source touch screen phones, but they have the best hardware for any phones .. amoled screens, 1ghz processors are the norm with matching RAM, 3.5g is standard on all the phones since the release in canada in november 09... soon to be coming out with 1.5ghz dual core processors ... pretty insane power ... if your just using a phone for calls/pictures/sms/mms .. any phone will do ... but the UI of android is really nice and clean, second only to meego IMO .. but meego is in china, lol... they are cheaper, more usable, and easier/cheaper to fix (provided something goes wrong) than iPhones, but essencialy the same thing, If your into games, applications on your phone, 90% of the android market is free to dl and use .. with the most expensive app on the market that i've seen(thats usable for the average user) is about $2.99 ...

+1 for ubuntu.... i hope?! -
that sucks, atleast its nice scenery to make up for the lack of fishing. lol, better luck next time!!

Thats great you dont have issues, the yellow discolouratoin was a relatively rare issue, not having prox.sensor issues is solid, I know alot of ppl that have that one ... As for the ports being covered up, its a rumour in the mobile circuit (xda, engadget, etc ..) ... The editor and chief of engadget made a post about it earlier in the week... The white cases will have to be remade anyways, so why not just cover the port hole i guess is the argument there ... it woudl save apple alot of money in the long run ... Agreed, just a rumour, before being flamed for posting it.. lol.... The speculation is, thats why the white iPhone 4 has been delayed for so long, to make sure the 2nd wave doesn't have that external port. again, speculation, and rumour, but from the most reliable mobile sources on the internet... people who havn't steered me wrong before with leaks, and knowledge of other phone manufacturers and there news before it hits the public ears/eyes.

I just meant iPhone 4 and fishing, with the external antenna point might cause issues with moisture being around them, the older iPhones didn't have that issue, 2G, 3G, even the iPod Touch generations ... also, Android was around before iPhone.. just to clarify that point. It wasn't called Android, it was the company that sold the technology to Google, then branded Android, Apple has never been known for being innovative .... The iPhone has its purpose, same as the macbook, etc ... niche market products, that people will gladly purchase for 200$ over the next phone with better hardware(processor, gpu, etc ..). One thing I will give iPhone, is once its jailbroken, can do alot of cool things ... As a mobile developer, I do enjoy the open sourceness of other OS/manufacturers, and the iPhone again, once jailbroken, can have just as nice of a GUI as any other phone on the market, for sure with almost the same functionality ... but, if your into just making phone calls, sending the occassional mms/sms, and taking pictures on your phone ... then, it really doens't matter what phone you get. lol.

no fix for bootloader loops and yellowed screens though .. and for ppl who im assuming will be fishing with there phones, if moisture gets between the phone and the case, it will still ground out causing reception loss.

I develop for Android phones, and show my Bullmastiffs in confirmation, and shutzhund arenas ... and when I'm not nerding it up, im fishing ... or playing video games. lol. alot of really nice jobs out there you ppl have, cant say im envious of the window installation job, im so scared of heights, lol .... defn' couldn't do that job. -
last night ended up being rad cloudy here in London last night .. if its clear at all, i'll be taking the TDI a couple hours northo f town, get as dark as possible, and hopefully be able to catch some nice photos with the dslr! if i do, i'll post them for sure!! **fingers crossed**

If your looking to purchase an iPhone 4, be it on contract, or outright .... your best bet is to wait till the next manufactured wave gets released... you won thave to buy a bumper in which case, the white ones are the next wave to be released, and the antenna ports have been covered up for these, so you wnot have teh rediculous reception loss holding it in your left hand .. if you can be patient, waiting is the best course of action. thats not even counting the yellowed screens, or the boot loop issues with this wave of phones, steve jobbs pushed them out way to early

+1 .... theres options to turn off data when roaming, something of course your service provider wont tell you, lol, but, the option is there .. such a smart option to turn on... thats the first thing on all my phones after unboxing and activation.
-
That sucks, I'm sure you've looked into it, but, incase you havn't, kijiji always has random jobs posted, some short term, some long term, but for the most part, part-time, odd jobs .. might help to take a peek
-
Thats just it with the iPhone, Hype .. nothing more, its an under-delivered, over priced, garbage phone ... for 300$ less you can get a FAR superior, open source phone that will do much more, and cost tonnes less .... as far as smart phones go, iPhone is worse than Blackberry .. I've had them all, and Android phones are where the smart buy is...

+1, just as likely not to get bit from holding either side of the shell .... he doesn't look happy at all. lol.

thanks, today i put new wheel bearings in int, greased em up all nice, tires check out fine, double checked all the wiring, and tubing, the rear lights are still submergable ... I also installed that safety backup chain on the front there, thanks, i would have never thought of that! .. so after i do some minor tweaks here and there, she'll be in the water this weekend, decided on lake erie, do some not to far off shore fishing with it, give er a test run before the trip up north ... havn't given her a name yet ... any ideas ?? never had to name anything except my dogs before, lol, not even sure what a good suitable name is ?? any help there would be slick

if you buy it from apple store, its sold "unlocked", which isn't really unlocked, but, temp it is ... you can use it with any carrier that works on quad band gsm .. but as soon as you use it with any carrier, its locked to that carrier, so for your case ... but the phone, activate with telus, then its locked to telus .... telus and rogers use same quad band. so it will work edge, 2g, 3g, hsdpa(3.5G) so your golden on telus.

iphone 4 ? are you new? lol. ... such a terrible phone... lacking hardware, lacking firmware, just terrible... android ftw but, if you do get an iphone, with iOS/4 .... there is a browser enabled jailbreak for it, should make your life alot nicer ... and by jailbreak, i mean MAJOR security flaw ... go apple!

I"ll be defn' taking the dslr outside of London, and hopefully getting some nice photo's of it .. provided theres no overcast, but so far, lookin' good on that front(no pun intended)
