  4. Those smart assed wolves... I guess I overlooked the not so obvious, but more destructive, and dangerous scenario ... Moose ... would have thought, but defn' overlooked! thanks.
  5. there both schutzhund dogs so they should be able to handle themselves for the most part... They have too much muscle to swim, like a dude on steroids, sink like a rock ... Wolves, think theres alot up there ? I have yet to see them, but I JUST obtained the land this year ... *edit and are the coyotes plentiful up there ??
  6. Hey everyone, looking for some tips/advice ... I'll be taking my 2 Bullmastiff's up north with me in a couple weeks(Lake Nepewassi) ... This will be there first time really in the bush, we've been doing some trails on the out skirts of london to get trained in cutting my trails, which there fantastic at(being a combined 250lbs-thats quite the path they cut.. lol.) ... They have never been near a boat before, nor that far from civilization .. I dont think they'll wander, they are very well trained dogs ... Any advice on how to make there trip any nicer, for them, and me.. lol ... They are all up to date on there shots, lime disease, rabies , etc ... Just dont want to run into that thing I didn't take into account for, mabye some people have had some experiences un-forseen taking the dogs to the cottage ... My dogs dont swim, they cant, the water near the dam on the east end (where my cabins are located) is shallow, so that shouldn't be a problem .. Not sure exactly what to ask for advice, lol, but ... anything is appreciated Thanks Trevor.
  7. A couple little ones I wheeled this past weekend ... Nothin' too crazy! lol, but, hopefully this summer Ill be able to wheel some 5+lbs bass. Caught on Lake Nepewassi, both using jitterbug(green on black), sun was JUST setting behind the trees, about 5 feet of water ... Love the weed beds on Nepewassi, produce such nice fish .. and ridiculously small pike
  8. wow!!! I've been hunting 50's for quite some time(obviously, lol.) .... 30" is the best so far for me! .... consider me jealous .. good catch!!!
  9. +1 .... Nylock would help prevent that from happening again.
  10. haha, I wasn't sure what this would be, thats defn' worth a watch!

  12. Hey all, been browsing the forums for quite some time now ... Decided yesterday, that I'de sign up, and contribute where I can, and be able to actually communicate with other users. lol... I'm in London, Ontario....not the best of fishing here, would WAY rather be in northern ontario full-time(hopefully come winter, that dream will be a reality!) hope to be posting some nice fish this season, would post previously caught fish, but, seems kinda cheap ... thanks to everyone who has helped me fish northern ontario so far this year with there tips and tricks for certain bodies of water on this forum, so much talent and smarts here ..... my time is spent fishing lake huron, lake erie, the thames river(ewwwww), and Lake Nepewassi(I've got a couple acres of lakefront there and a couple cabins), and some of the trout filled tributaries near Port Bruce and Delhi, ON ..... I love to fish bass, trout, pike, and those beautiful ski's, well, tbh, anything .... even those big stinky carp ... This morning I spent bass fishing the fat parts of the thames river between London and Chatham .... just little dudes today, and a couple carp, nothing more than 1lbs in the bass dept, and a couple 5lbs-ish carp .... Going back to lake Nepewassi in a couple weeks for a weekend ... always really good bass fishing there, 3lbs+ all day! I love it!....
