The weeds are about 1ft from the top right at the dock, then slowly disappear as it gets deeper, not sure where the weeds are in the deeper area. Need to get myself some glowing floats

I see a bunch of people talking about night fishing and I'm wondering exactly what that's about? I know its pretty straight foward, but I will be going up to a cottage for a week, and probably wont be able to go out on the boat at night (Georgian Bay), just very little knowledge of the area, and really dont want to be stuck out there all night! So i would have to be fishing from the dock. It's in a bay, with about 6-12 ft of water, heavy weeds. Any ideas?

I'm looking for a rain/fishing suit, or at least a jacket. One that is at least light and breathable, but at least will give me some protection from the rain/sun. Any ideas? I found a nice shimano one at Canadian Tire, but $140 was a bit too much.

Sorry for all the questions! Live bait fishing for pike/musky. If im using good sized live bait, then what size of float should i use to prevent the bait from going deeper. I picked up the biggest i could find which was 2 - 1/2". Any ideas Thanks!
