I just for got to put HATCHERY 60000 fry hatches raised and released in variers rivers like the Little LEHIGH river and released on some mountain stream on the UPPER DELAWARE... anyway I will find out for sure tomorrow.. Well I asked a friend who Is one of the head guys for the Atlantic Salmon Fedeation, and he mentioned that its looks like a "FULL SPAWN noodle in BREEDING DRESS" http://www.fishingnet.com/salmon_recognition.htm I guess when Atlantics are in fresh water and fresh water only they bloom in full spawn colours If I personally havent released 300 16inch fish myself, I would have said a brown but I have seen these fish close up. I will also forward this to WILL WAGMAN of the MNR and Bruce Donalds of the DNR ( US MNR) to confirm the fish.. BTW THE DNR did a huge Atlantic Staocking on Lake Erie 1995 - Introduction of Landlocked Atlantic salmon to the Salmon River (60,000 fry). The addition of Atlantic salmon is to provide a summer fishery and offset any perceived loss of revenue from the ending of snagging. Examine the possible restocking of Brown trout to create a resident summer fishery in the main stem of all Lake Erie Rivers. Success of these programs cannot take place until year round minimum flows are established in the river. I hope this help and will post on future findings Dave

Hey For the past couple of month Bowshep, and I have been fishing alot together, When we do we make it a habit to talk to as many people on the river as possible. We talk about fishing in general, we talk about RAVEN and we promote guiding. Well one day I was fishing and I meet this guy who was a member of a Chinese fishing club, one thing led to another and they ask Raven and myself to to set up a talk on float fishing and everything that goes on with it. Well Last night Bowshep and I did the seminar, and we had them from the start to the finish. We talked about the sport itself, we talked about safety, and we talked about Ethics and conservation.. Our talk was to last 1 1/2 hrs but went over to 3-4 hrs. It was great. Here is a pic that was taken last night at 11:20 pm, now all the member that was there are not in the pic, but a good number are... I would like to that the Canadian Chinese Anglers Club for having us out and I look forward to another talk in the future Dave P.s Thank You Ken for your help, you always make things interesting and fun..

Trout / Salmon Report & POACHERS CAUGHT ON FILM
DMASSE replied to ranger520vx's topic in General Discussion
Good Work, but with no pictures of them actually fishing in the water, I would have to say that it would be hard to prove anything.. I would think all he would have to say is that he was gathering dead fish for his garden, But no to discourege you, keep it up. I know I have taken live videos and sent them to the MNR with no results... I think its better to let them know that we are watching Dave -
What a joke...
