Hey Lucas, your absolutely correct, sure cant get the deals like you do for pork bellies, ribs etc but freshly caught trout for dinner is not too bad either, had some last night with a salad and veggies mmmmgood

You know it O I, the sun was actually out for the first time in what seemed like months, had to clean the dust off the sunglasses, was a beautiful day only 8 kph north east winds, temp was approx -32 wc The only thing she ever says when she hooks up to a fish is "YEP" , thats when you know she is ROCKIN AND REELING I asked her that day do u want to take the pop up out, she replied no its not that bad out, I am a lucky man

Haha good one, no I get to do the grunt work thats where she draws the line :tease:I drill the holes, she catches the fish, I clean the fish, she cooks up the fish, it works for me

LOL Bunk she outdid me big time and thats just fine by me as long as everyone enjoys the day out , thats what puts a smile on my face

totally agree many people do not even read a manual before they use a machine , some just learn by listening to a buddy,,,,,,,,,,maybe just maybe along with the usual safety decals on a quad or sled maybe some universal symbol could be used to represent the above or at least put something to that affect on the cover of the manual even if it saves just one life it would be worth it

That should be drilled into every person that purchases a sled, it can be a lifesaver

Getting the impression that if u use some source of heat or power that the govt isn't getting a payback from , they will go in a round a bout way to make u purchase something else to get a tax grab Does this apply to forest fires that send smoke from Quebec to Ontario or fires that send smoke from the territories all the way to Colorado, and what about the logging mills or farmers that when clearing land occasionally have piles of stumps they burn off, are they going to be picked on as well or are they going to spend large amounts of money to make a safe route for a commercial vehicle to get in and remove the material only to tear up additional flora that does not need to be disturbed What about all the wasted plane trips politicians take on otherwise empty jets to fly to to a "function" I do not believe the number of woodstoves in this incredibly vast land of ours is going to be the down fall of the ozone layer, a great deal of people in remote areas do not always have the luxury of having multiple sources of heat at their disposal, I'm going outside to have a campfire and make some tea

Thx Bunk, your getting slammed with some of the winter we are missing , the trout was a dink compared to the ones you connect with while guiding on the big lake, but getting that one on one of the lakes off the Trail, well I was pretty stoked, definitely my biggest so far, It is crazy good to be fishing quite often with your sled suit on but your parka undone, like fishing on Lake Simcoe lol As u know -20 or 25 feels balmy, no hut needed Be good , be safe up there , talk to u soon

We use Gain easier on the skin Good one, waiting for someone to put that line out no grease in these ones, fillets look like salmon, not like its southern relatives sorry about the pic kinda sucks but by the time I thawed my iphone out the damn fish froze, lol
