I still get my mail delivered right to my door and im gonna miss it. Having said that its no big deal..I just kind of find it sad.But the 37% price increase quickly changes my mine..This is the official death of Canada post.. -

For those that thought Orpic was faking it here ya go PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Penguins placed defenceman Brooks Orpik on the injured reserve Monday with a concussion. Orpik was knocked unconscious by Boston’s Shawn Thornton in the first period of a 3-2 Bruins’ win on Saturday night. Orpik left the ice on a stretcher when Thornton grabbed Orpik from behind, threw him to the ice and punched him. Penguins coach Dan Bylsma said Monday that Orpik was unconscious for "30 seconds or more." Orpik flew home with the team, but is out indefinitely. Bylsma said Orpik is "doing quite well" but offered no timetable on a possible return. Pittsburgh recalled defenceman Brian Dumoulin from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League to take Orpik’s spot on the roster.

Wow busy day in the Leafs thread..Scott Stvens was the master at what he did..Plain and simple..I enjoyed his game and still do when I watch highlights. However comparing kids hockey to the NHL that's just silly. Perhaps the "respect" issue stems from minor hockey but I seriously doubt it..Im 39 and played hockey for 25 years now. When i started there was no hitting, not untill you turned 14..Pee Wee I think it was. Mount Hamilton Minor Hockey Ass. The kids playing today will grow to be softies and extremely vulnerable when they hit semi pro and Pro. The "respect" that's spoken of will go out the window the first time another player takes a run at the "new kid" to knock him off the puck. The animosity and intensity involved at the elite level is something ill never know... These kids being taught respect in minor leagues will unfortunately find out real quick..It actually worries me.. Instead of teaching them respect they should be taught how to hit correctly, keep your head up and for the love of god pay attention to whom your passing it to. No blind suicide passes. That (imo) is where the kids should be educated.

In all fairness to Stevens those hits were legal back then.. Some real beauts..Guys like him sure made the games entertaining..

That was a perfect game..It had everything good in the sport in one game..leaf lead by 2 Sens tie it up. A good fight lots of hits Sens take it to OT, lots of action and the Shootout..Win or loose that was a great game.. James Reimer improves to 7-0-0 in Ottawa..with a 47 shot night.. Oh ya GO LEAFS GO!
