the dude hijacked a car after the monument shooting.. drove his way in as far as he could and shot his way into the building..There's not much more that could have been done to stop him aside from military style barriers and check points..Tha'ts not very Canadian at all....

Man I have to admit I have read every single post in this thread..Thanks to the mods for not locking it up..Everyone has such good points, as to what makes us Canadian. We are tolerant flexible and most importantly a loving-giving country. This is what makes me proud to be a Canadian. Now after having said that, these nut jobs this week are going to be an ongoing problem. What would have happened if they didn't take on middle east names and were indeed pissed off tax payers? Would that have made us feel any better? I willing to say yes most likely.. I don't have answers just more and more questions. I do think with this latest attacks on our freedom, our government is about to slowly start hacking away at those rights and freedoms. These men were indeed Canadians. Our federal government knew about them both and about 90 more of them..If they need to change our ways and cut back on some of our freedom and rights, i say start with them. Go pick every one of them up, every one that has pubicly threatened Canada. If your passport has been revolked and your a suspected terrorist your guilty untill proven otherwise. Stuff them on a plane and let them go fight a holy war where the war is..FYI I agree with most posts in this thread and it quite frankly crushes my spirit as a Canadian..

I just ran into this in Burlington this summer..Just after the floods. He was standing at Guelph line and south service road holding a sign..I was stopped at a red light when he approached me asking for money. Well I at the time was in mayhem remediating flood damaged homes, so I told him that If he had a SIN # he could come work for a few days and that id pay him $15 an hour. He just kept walking...lol Guess not.. Another time I was taking my daughter to A&W for dinner in Brantford and this rough dude approached me asking for money to buy food for he and his "old lady" I said no sorry, then looked down at my young daughter, she had the perplexed look on her face. Kinda like why didnt you help that man look. So at that point I realized that I had a few 2 can dine for 10 bucks coupons, so I called him back said id be happy to buy them dinner..We went inside got mine and my daughters dinner he ordered his and his wife's dinner I paid for both, he then hugged me said thanks and put the food in his back pack and left the store..Sure enough out of nowhere pops his woman and they sat down to eat on the grass together..All the while my then 10 year old daughter has a big smile on her face..So in short don't offer money folks just offer to help in any way you can..If that's not good enough move on..

There seems to be much confusion on how it gets transmitted. Vomit and Diarrhea can also spread ebola VIA airborne particles, and those symptoms are normal with Ebola. My Sister is a nurse and has a special training seminar in regard to the transmission and spread of the disease. Its much more complicated then one would imagine, thats for sure
