Heres the fishy

I woke this morning with a few pains(sciatica), dying to get out for some fishing. I shouldnt of went at all. I was planning to hit the niagara, but with the way I felt I decided to stay close, pack lite and a very short walk to the trout grounds. Within a 1/2 hr of fishing with all the bait fish lurking around, I had 2 lake trout sniff my lures and swam away After a 1/2 hr or so of nothing to be seen, trout wise I moved on. Within 20 minutes, I had an interested brown hunt down my lure, so interested he actually took it , a ten minute fight, he was landed Shortly after I had a bow stare at my lures a few times, only to swim away on me It was very fustrating.As were my other 3 trips down there. With all the bait fish present, im surprised he hit the lure. Glad he did though. I guess this guy cant be entered for the 2011 tourney, oh well! He will enter my belly soon enough. All I can say now is, Im glad I went, but Im paying for it now and probably in the am. OUCH!!!!! A pic of the bait fish viewed threw my aquaview.

Emily had a hoot with Danos expression, and Sam sided with lloyd enjoying is lunch.

Finally seeing the hut all blown up Since beans pulled out of the race, the? pic made Emily laugh so hard. She almost We all laughed histarically

Thanks to T J and the rest of the gang for allowing us to do this here on OFC. There have been alot of laughs, oh mys, what the, hehehe, thats cute, etc comments by my little judges. They had a lot of fun, and it took a lot of the winter blues out of their minds Regretably Beans and Lew had to step down Emily just fell in love with the swan that beans posted. When the salmon and trout start running next fall, that 301 is going to get her last run at a fish. Then its retired from duty. I purchased it for memories sake. Too many fond memories.

Ive never had any issues with st croix at all. Ive put them to the test. As for the tip just falling off, , compare its length to another one. A store I worked at way back when, no longer around btw. The dept manager usually goofed up. Broken rods at the tip were cut and had tips installed, by him ofcourse forgetting to glue them in. Not to mention the compound bow that exploded in the store one day, while restringing it.

I use one in my clam 2000 hut, at -20 your going to want to pack a few hand and feet warmers. One good thing about it, esp with kids in the hut. Theres no open flame.

now if I can get my 2 girls to do that, id be impressed,lol They just poke the fishies
