  1. Wow!, not much else to say. Those are amazing fish and true trophies.
  2. Awesome fish, congratulations!
  3. Well, after contacting ebay in an attempt to get some confirmation on the legitimacy of this auction, within 2 hours they pulled the listing and contacted me saying do not provide this person with any information. Guess it was what it appeared to be, a scam
  4. Damn you woman, stop putting ideas into my head!
  5. No worries, my momma didn't raise no dummies . Find it amazing that such an obvious scam would make it onto ebay though. Usually they're pretty vigilant about that kind of thing.
  6. Boat is actually located in Dickson Tennesse (supposedly).
  7. It sounds as though he lived a long and fruitful life and was loved by many, may he rest in peace. Condolences to you and your family.
  8. Yeah great deal, maybe too great. Seems too good to be true....
  9. It's currently listed on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/2000-LUND-MR-PIKE-17-F...1QQcmdZViewItem I emailed him saying I'd buy it for his asking price of $3500, but had a bunch of questions including wanting to talk to him directly.. Here's his response to me: "I would first like to let you know that the boat is in perfect condition and will be come with a clear title. Price is $3,500.00 including the shipping, my associate will ship it via BoatTransportQuotes. I`m currently in Miami running a reseller business. If you want to buy it, email me your shipping address including the full name and i will initiate the sale through eBay. After that, you will get an online insurance from eBay with the payment instructions. Please also include your eBay ID in your reply." Thank you
  10. Hey that's awesome! I can relate as well, I did a very, very similar conversion to my 16' Lund SSV.
  11. Man you sure do get around! Beautiful fish, beautiful kids and beautiful wife (congrat's on making her an honest woman ). cheers, Mike
  12. Awesome Drew, some of those shots of the sturgeon jumping could be magazine covers. Looks like you guys had a heck of a trip!
  13. This link is invaluable. Once you've gone a couple of times and have a yardstick to measure the flow rates against you'll pretty much know what the water levels will be like.... http://scitech.pyr.ec.gc.ca/waterweb/formNav.asp
  14. What's an X box? Some kinda fancy tackle box to hold all your X Raps?
  15. Read through all 4 of your posts Wayne, what a fantastic summer! Very impressed with the stonework you did for your woodstove, it looks great! Noticed the baseboard heater, are you guys on the grid up there? Didn't think any of the remote access cottages had electricity...
  16. Well just woke up and suddenly had the urge to go floss some fish in the nearest thermally stressed stream . Later guys....
  17. Hey Wayne, yeah I was up to the cottage last week and really noticed a dramatic change in the colours above North Bay as well. My favourite time of year, love it .
  18. Timely words Cliff considering some of the recent posts. Some nice fish, congrat's!
  19. Quite a rant Louis . Do agree with everything you said except that the 'nooks won't gobble up a roe bag when they enter a river. When they're unmolested and relatively fresh run they will. I'll be fishing tomorrow, and most likely MUCH lower down than most of the flossers and liners and am more interested in the ho's anyway. You know as well as I do they'll hit a roebag .
