If I listened to everything and believed everything especially the internet because there is a huge amount of false fodder. ID JUMP OFF A BUILDING. I wonder how much of it is purposely false in order for the Fat Cats to buy. Q. How far is Fort Pickett from your place. For all I know the Marine Base could be Closed. All I remember is Red Mud, Snow which closed the Base and State, Beer and Canadians and Americans fighting in the Mess. The next day running with a heavy pack with 4 other Canadians and a Big ole Sgt giving us marching orders as punishment. It was the snow that reminded me of that because to us Canadians it was only a minor storm.

I know what your saying. I was joking with my wife when I told her about his parents permission. I was hoping she would get the Irony of things. One thing I learned about being away so many times and for long length of time. You got to compromise, sometimes you got to Bite your lip. If man is not King of his castle, has no, or gets no respect, than why is he there. Cant imagine the Kids and wife not respecting the sacrifices a father makes. I agree with both Charlied and Ohio with out being any kind of a soft heart. Its your House, Your self respect, Your son, Your rules. Hes got to respect you as well as you to him. Unfortunately kids no matter what gender and age usually forget that. I'M going through a bit of a phase myself with my daughter. She just had a kid at 17 and as far as I'm concerned just ruined her life. She was actually going through the RCMP at the time when she found out she was pregnant. I told her I didnt want to see the father because I would kill him although Ive met him and actually kind of liked him though hes too immature to be any kind of father. Daughter wanted to live with him but that lasted a month, as I told her it wouldn't work. My Grandson is starting to grow on me and my Daughter for some unknown reason is starting to mature abit by helping around the house. I guess you just got to get used to things and hope that you can come up with a compromise. LOL I told her that I wouldn't kill her Boyfriend anymore unless he dis-respects me in my house. My point is compromise. I had to shake my head when I told my wife I couldnt serve him alchohol at thanksgiving unless I got his parents permission. Like I said earlier, where else do you make $70 an hour inside a nice building and you just press buttons. Compare that to an oil worker driving a pressure truck class 3a working outdoor Alberta, Saskatchewan winters 12 -15 hours a day, having 4 Safety courses including First Aid and dealing with pressure valves that can a cremate block of Buildings at 18-25 dollars an hour. Oh by the way- Canada Post is doing their Typical strike thing just before Christmas as usual. Two years ago CUPE Saskatchewan decided to walk out during three of the worst storms in Sask. Were talking about Emergency workers and snow clearance. You want to see how they threatened us if we voted Sask Party instead of the NDP. Sask Party won and put a bill in place no walk outs during time of Crises

Trust me, Ive picked up expensive Rods (for me $70 plus) and (cheap $40 and less) and broke the tips off the more expensive just by trying them out. You'd be surprised how many tips are brittle no matter the price. So far Ive been lucky that I havent had to pay for one. This is why for me price can be a gimmick like anything else.

Dont forget a shovel, and Booster cables. I also carry a Tow Rope. I have to because getting to Big River , could be a problem as theres alot of Nothing. Also just got CAA for the first time.

Kind of reminded me about my long weekend fishing venture. EXPENSIVE. At least you persevered and was able to fish.
