  1. Good day on the water solo.Lots of shakers and a few teens in the mix. Picked one nice 22 .02 on the hawg wild spin doc on the wire dipsey. Weigh her in at Bronte out doors fot the salmon classic derby. When he called it in we found out there was 24 pounder weigh in some where else. Had some trouble with the timer and the camera so I failed to get the whole fish in the pic.
  2. The left fish would have been huge(Larger) pre-spawn. Nice win boys congrats.
  3. That thing was crazy.
  4. We tried near where we were for the scotty. Rans spoons in same spots just couldn't hook up. We ran the rusty beads all morning.
  5. Anysize Bowen? What did you catch the fish on Reelhard.net ?
  6. Better than being at work.. athough the reason I skipped work was to get my king fix which I didn't get.:-(
  7. Good Job Al. Are you a total weekend warrior now?
  8. This kid will teach you the ropes for a good price. http://www.reelhard.net/
  9. Willis knot is the best and easiest to use. Add the crazy glue will make it even more solid. Here's a link to show you how. Rod I have to believe(now after this weekend) putting leadcore in the pad might have less risk of breaking then the extra knots with the segmented. http://spoonpullers.proboards42.com/index....amp;thread=1401
  10. Ever wonder what a week end of tourney fishing on Lake Ontario is like? <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="400" height="267" data="http://www.vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=949216&server=www.vimeo.com&fullscreen=1&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=0&color=00ADEF">'>http://www.vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=949216&server=www.vimeo.com&fullscreen=1&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=0&color=00ADEF"> <param name="quality" value="best" /> <param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /> <param name="scale" value="showAll" /> <param name="movie" value="http://www.vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=949216&server=www.vimeo.com&fullscreen=1&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=0&color=00ADEF" /></object><br /><a href="http://www.vimeo.com/949216/l:embed_949216">Tourney fishing.</a> from <a href="http://www.vimeo.com/user410653/l:embed_949216">Rob Iceguy</a> on <a href="http://vimeo.com/l:embed_949216">Vimeo</a>.
  11. Great week end guys, So close yet so far. I'm cooking up a video of the weekends events. Should be able to post it tonight or tomorrow,
  12. Chinnoks in the summer. Here's one I lost at the one minute mark but shows the power on the king salmon. <embed width="448" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://i186.photobucket.com/player.swf?file=http://vid186.photobucket.com/albums/x276/Iceguy_2007/lostfish.flv">
  13. Awesome report. I think you get the last guy on the ice award this year.
  14. Nice boat/hut/4wheeler. Need some riggers for the lakers this spring.
  15. Was kinda of score fest in the thrid. Entertaining series.

  17. I think most Lake O fisherman use mono for the riggers and use braid for the dispey divers.(digs the diver deeper and no strech helps pop the dipsey.) When the fleas come in thick on Lake O switch to wire line as it slice through them. The fleas of Lake O will be much thicker than Temagami's and the braid will be bad news.
  18. I think it can be useful on the big lakes. The big question is can it catch the fish of Lake O and Erie. How deep does that diver go at with 50 ft out at 2.5 miles?
  19. Nice demo on the diver. Need to demo the fish on the line with it.
  20. Nice Browns. I least you brought a net with you. How about some pliers?
  21. Good music and fish. Looks like the catch and release is working for that lake.
  22. Correct. Like I said thought to lower it you have to keep your finger at the switch. Instead I just loosen the clutch and down she goes.
  23. Works for my same cannon riggers. Steelhedrmatt asked me yesterday how they stop I said "not sure they just do". I can't believe all riggers don't come equip with auto stop. If you are in a hurry to get them down( Like me) use the clutch(Star shaped knob) and free fall it to whatever depths you wish.
  24. Next weekend Rod? Say sunday morning.
