  1. Don't ever stop Cliff. I don't know you personally, but you sound like the type of guy who can't stop, thus you shouldn't.

You know why.. Once you force yourself to stop, other things start stopping too. Things that shouldn't stop. Things you need to live. Seen it happen to a lot of people.

  2. Brad Pratt Nick?

Cliff, you call Pratt sheet metal and tell him you know me,you will get a good deal.

If you dont, let me know,I,ll have a talk with him.LOL

Nope. We've had Pratt quote work, but his price can't touch our laser guy in Brampton.

He's so cheap, I actually shake my head sometimes. Local guys quoting things at $150, he's going them for $50. Ridiculous.

  3. Still here...still teaching in Wingham....still Musky fishing.

    Hey Mr. Hamblin!!!

    Awsome pic!

Thanks for saying hi! I was going to fire you an e-mail this weekend, but things got a little crazy. We had a death in the family.

I don't know if you remember a character named Zane.. He and I talk about you every now and then.

I do a fishing weekend every year with a few guys from F.E. Madill. Maybe this year we can head out with you for a charter?

  4. I went from a 81 25 HP Evenrude, down to a 90 9.9 Evenrude, and saved at least $150 is gas last year.

I would think that 65 Merc will suck back the gas, and pollute like no tomorrow. As for reliability. It could be a great motor, or if could be a lemon. You won't know until you get a few hours on it.

Not worth is IMO. "edit" Unless it's DIRT cheap.

If you want a stronger engine, I would suggest something in the 90's. If you can't afford it right now, then start saving. Pick up something cheap at the end of this season??

  5. Bill Hamblin was a co-writer of the "Musky Hunters Alminac". He was also a teacher at my highschool for a period of time.

I've always wondered if he was a member of this board.

He was also a guide on Georgian Bay. Wondering if he still guides. I'd love to get out with him. Now that I've moved closer, G-bay is my new playground :thumbsup_anim:

Does anyone know Bill?, and what he's up to these days?
