  1. I always go bare back when fishing, unless it's in the hardwater season, and it's -30°.

However, there is no science to that decision. I can't really answer your question about damaging the fish.

What kind of gloves do you wear? They must provide some sort of grip on the palms and fingers?

  2. Yep, there's a decent bunch here.

Last winter I asked for an early ice report for a lake in Muskoka.

So Irishfield jumps in his plane, does a few fly-bi runs over the lake. Takes some pictures, and posts them. How can you beat that!!

  3. Avatar says your from Barrie.

Head on down to Jerry Vanbeeks, the chip wagon in the Giant Tiger parking lot.

Basa and Poutine for under 10 bucks.

    That'll clean you out!!!

I've had it once, and thought it was tasty. No idea how they're raised though. I only tried it because they where out of pickerel.

  4. I was in the Hog Bay area last night for a few hours after work.

    X2 on the SKUNK.

Talked to 3 other boats, all the same thing. The odd OOS bass, and nothing else.

I'm thinking they are in the deeper water with the cooler weather we've been having.

Rain for the Thursday / Friday. Fishing might be crappy this weekend too.

  5. I have to keep reminding myself, im on a weekend warrior forum of senco tossing bass anglers lol

What the hell are you talking about?

You're the guy who says not to be flame others on the board, but then you say crap like that. Give your head a shake..

If you don't like it here, then piss off.

  6. Nice!

What I thought where going to be fidle heads at my place turned out to some weird type of fern. They coil the same as fidle heads, but have a red stem, not green? Don't think they would taste very good!

  7. Opener May 1st in zone 14! That's Tuesday!

Walleye and Pike fishing hopefully Tuesday after work on G-Bay.

Have you thought about renting a cottage somewhere on G-Bay for the weekend. Lots of hot spots up that way, just need to know where they are!
