Again we went to the conference finals and you didn`t!!!
-
Colby Armstrong is an interesting player he has averaged 14 goals and 35 points in 5.5 seasons, I would say Colby Armstrong`s strongest atribute is his agent.
-
That`s fine your certainly entitled to your opinion however wrong it is!!!LOL We went to the the conference finals last year and you didn`t.

You are a little confused Mr.Bass, Verbeek is in his mid 40`s and has been retired for many years. Versteeg on the otherhand is a useful 50 point guy and with all due respect the Leafs do not have two great lines. There have been a few teams in the past that had two great lines but IMHO 2010/11 Leafs come up a little short in the great department, lets see if they can make the playoffs before we start calling them great besides if they have two great line then making the playoffs will be a walk in the park.

Sjostrom,LOL the only net he could put the puck in is a soccer net!! He hasn`t scored more than 10 goals in a season but hey he might be good enough to play on your first line, good luck with that!!

After 25 yrs of fishing it 'had' to happen
lookinforwalleye replied to rippinlipsfishingteam's topic in General Discussion
Seeing I have a low thereshold for pain I would have went to the hospital and had them freeze the finger and then remove the hook. It`s amazing that it does not happen more often, glad your okay! -
I think it`s great but is it always the same thing muscle bound neanderthal types beating on each other, let see something different how about a couple of diaper wearing toddlers or perhaps a couple of nuns going toe to toe or a couple of has been celebrities smacking each other and for the main event how about Rob Ford versus George Slitherman.

Leaf's in First Place in the NHL

Yes it looks like this is the year, a buddy of mine that works downtown has marked his spot on University Ave. -
I used to fish the nip 20-30 years ago and we had no trouble catching fish, some days they were practically jumping in the boat, the areas we fished always had nets in the water. I don`t know if the natives are the problem but I can say this if native netting is the cause of dwindling fish stock then tough luck for everybody because there is not a politician around with the stones to stand up to the natives we all have seen many examples of that.

Is there a green way to tow?
lookinforwalleye replied to Shaun Rickard's topic in General Discussion
I was thinking the same thing, but there are plenty of weekender`s that do the same thing! For the most part for the kind of fishing I do I could probably get by with 14 foot jon boat and a small 4 stroke heck I could probably tow it with my Subaru but instead I have a big gas guzzing V8 for the 2 times I towed my boat this year. -
Careful you don`t step in it, you obviously do not know anything about the Montreal Canadiens franchise!

I like the Trilene knot!!

Like I said it was meant to be a joke and a shot at Burke who I will admit I don`t like all that much a little too arrogant for my liking. I actually do not dislike the Leafs I watch quite a bit of Leaf hockey but I will admit I don`t watch as much as I used to because of the product. I was/am a big fan some former Leafs including Doug Gilmore, Wendel Clark,Borje Salming,Tiger Williams and a few others as well. I would only use the word hate if was associated with The Boston Bruins,Philadelphia Flyers and of course the defunct Quebec Nordiques and there coach Michel Bergeron.

I agree but the planet I don`t know maybe North America, Soccer FANS can get ugly but the term fan is open to debate. IMHO FANS do not boo their team, FANS do not riot in the street,FANS do not boo the opposing teams national anthem!!! I have been a Habs fan for 50 years and I have never booed the team once, I am sure I got mad a few times and turned the TV off but never would I boo!

Surprised by the number of people here that openly admit to breaking the law! And those of us who have paid the tax don`t mind subsidizing you criminals!!!LOL
-
Gomez LOL how many Leaf players had more points than Scott Gomez,I will save you the trouble of looking it up ZERO!!!
-
No doubt a rough night for Mr.Price and what can I say about the fans they are a piece of work and I even have a hard time calling them fans! On the whole I thought Montreal played a real strong game and for the most part dominated everywhere except where it mattered. Strong game from Tuukka Rask...where have I heard that name before...wasn`t he a former Leaf first round draft pick?Traded for Andrew Raycroft...how`d that work out?
-
I think the leafs won, details on the parade route to be posted shortly!
-
I hope the Leafs win tonite or a couple of guys here may cut their wrists!!!
