Muskies can hit at any time, and fish whenever you can, BUT be sure to concentrate your efforts during prime times like low light (morning, evening) overcast days, ahead of fronts and nasty weather (not T storms). Also night time can be great especially on pressured lakes in summer. Muskies are easier to catch when they are biting

They are quite good just be sure to remove the "mudline" on the skin side, it can spoil the taste of the fillet

Mono(25lb)for fairly sparse cover, but when it gets really thick or around wood cover where abraision may be a problem I like braids
