I'm casting as I drift... I though I'd try the stinger and see if it hung me up and it didn't... So why not use it... A few of the fish only had that hook in em.... And even with it I missed a few...

Well I tried a few different things to imitate live bait.... Here's the rig that's been doing well for me... It's not keeping up to my brother running minnows but its doing respectable.... Better then nothing if minnows aren't available.... "The walleye buster" -berkley ripple shad 5" -northland gumball jig 3/8 -vmc stinger hook 3"

I find the second pic shows its true size... If that fish were vertical it would be much shorter then that guy... Who knows... Fish stories.... It was an accidental catch that was released.... A replica was made.... And the target species was pike and walleye....

Saw this picture in a tackle shop.... Owner said the fish bottomed a 60lb scale so they measured it before they released it below the ice.... "He said" it measured 65 inches!!!! And I don't know about you guys but that's the biggest musky I've ever seen in a pic.... Don't know if its 65 inches.... But it's big....

And this guy is a harvester so he's not paying a middle man...

I hope you do... I was asking because I haven't been seeing many reports yet.... I'm pounding nice walleye at home... 10-20 a night with lots of 6-7-8-9 pounders.... So I'm questioning going up to quinte next weekend....

My brother used 2 dozen yesterday.... Luckily he picked em up in calabogy... Or else it would have been $72 for 2 dozen minnows.... That's a pricy day of walleye fishing.... But if I go sene my own minnows its illegal.... Those prices should be illegal...

Jeeeezus!!!!! I went to buy 5 inch minnows today... Buddy had like 100 from 4-6 inch... I said I'll take em all... Then I said how much.... He says $3 per minnow!!!!!!!! So $36 a dozen for 5 inch minnows.... What the heck... And people wonder why others poach bait... I'd be willing to pay as much as $1 a minnow.... It's not like they are 12 inch suckers.... 5 inch shinners.... I'm blown away...

I did it once ever with a pike in Fort Francis.... Had my buddies spoon still hanging out of its mouth....

My brother broke off this walleye and about an hour later caught it... The other hook was still in his mouth and minnow in its belly.... Talk about putting on the feedbag.....

Anybody hearing of many over 10lbs yet....???
