Wicked trip, thanks for the report. I need to do a fly in one of these years.
-
Doesn't look promising right now with sustained east winds....but we all know how that goes I will check the forcast Friday.
-
You have been busy, Some says I wish I could just pick up and move to the mountains, I love it out there.
-
I haven't marked any bait since April. Am starting to wonder what these things eat

wow. I tried the salmon thing for the first time week ago with buddy who is just getting into it...went 4 for 7. Like it so much I bought some dipseys and went in my boat a few days later...3 for 4! Nice to find some fishing I enjoy close to home. Usually its a long haul and a long day out and back to st clair. This is a nice alternative...especially if I start to see the success you guys are having
No kidding we fish the morning from 6-11 and home by 12 . Wife barely notices I'm missing.

Dammit ... I had a weird feeling and almost ran to grimsby this morning. Nice shooting . We stayed on the north shore and went 6-6 Before the wind picked up.

it's no secret it's been a great year out on Lake Ontario with big fish being caught from Whitby to Hamilton. It's been mostly a spoon bite for us all season with the odd fish on the fly. I haven't got out as much as last year but still managing to get out for a morning every week. Here's a few of the better fish from the last 2 weeks. Also got my first unicorn he was a baby so he got a quick unhook and release.

Well I'm screwed.

I've seen similar screens never knew what to make of it.

It's been a great year so far, all over. Let's hope it keeps up and is even better next year.
-
It's a 99. Just needs a hone and some new rings more than likely would run for another 10 years.Seems steep. but impossible to tell without disassembly and inspection.
-
Nice , let's get out for some brookies this fall. I got a cool spot.
-
Epoxy some puck board to one of the logs and screw the deucer into that.

The globe in rosemount..... Crazy intimate . Not cheap but a great place to enjoy a fine meal by a fireplace in the winter with a few freinds
Lancaster smokehouse in Kitchener , live blues and great food.
-
Lake Ontario is on fire this year. In a good way . Populations way up over the last 3 years or so.
-
Nice trip Rick. nothin beats a few days up north and some great fishing. We'll maybe the song of a wire dipsie running out to 500
-
Nice I always hot smoke mine at around 150 for 8 hours.

I tried one of the small trout lakes in the park many years ago with no luck. Not much help I know. Some sections of the big east river have decent smaller fishing. The bridge by the Dwyer monument would be one of them.
-
Sorry for your loss, I have one grandparent left and he means more to me than he will ever know. Tough brake on the car too. Glad you caught a few fish.
-
Keep driving to Agawa bay It puts you closer to more things in the park. Sand river is a nice hike. I. Gargantua is a cool place to check out the road is pretty rough I wouldn't want to do it in a car. any of the lakes in the park along the highway are stocked with Brookies a small spinner tipped with a worm will get you some.

Nice motors. My dad had the same engine (only one) on his cedar strip boat in the early 70s.
I didn't think that they were still making cedar strip boats in 1984.
Bernies family still makes them today, and they are affordable compared to an aluminum. I'm often tempted to pick up a new 18 ft .

Nice, we're going to try and wrap up our Giesler resto this winter. Dads retiring so that will help
-
Nice going, I could go for a feed of them after my trip I'm craving them.
