  1. Yet another fisherman that has been caught by the glimmer of some new fangled piece of tackle! Don't worry, happens to me quite too often!
  2. http://www.rapala.ca/products/bluefox/15-30.php
  3. These seem to be a pretty interesting looking bait, and seem one of a kind in design. Picked a few up but haven't used them as of yet, any fellow anglers ever tried these out?
  4. Awesome!......A picture is worth a thousand words..
  5. Good One!
  6. #3 black fury Huh?
  7. I've worked at the same steel-pipe manufacturing facility for eight years and have not attended the christmas party once......Why not, you might ask?.....Just not not a fan of crowds and what not, My personal preferance I guess.
  8. cabelas online
  9. Nope.
  10. Yah I know eh?......One more to try, Ande Tournament......Steelhead veteran friend of mine swears by it, used nothing else for the last 20yrs!
  11. Or two?
  12. I typically use pro-cure, you can get it at western tire chris.
  13. Just a heads up to fellow anglers.....I've had this line on two seperate occasions and two different lb tests break off when fighting a fish. It does have smaller lb test to diameter ratio, but this obviously proves itself in the line strength.....Was a real bummer to see that steelhead make off with my dis-continued cleo! So if you're into trying new products, take my word for it and skip this one!
  14. Don't think you could go wrong with anything Shimano makes, personally I wouldn't go over $100.

    Roe

Most local baitshops will sell pre-tied roe, but it's pretty pricey stuff as far as my experience goes. Rolling your own isn't very difficult either, just ask one of your steel-head buddies for a quick run down on how to cure and tie it.
  16. Hmmm......maybe just a gadget designed to catch fishermen as much as it does fish eh?
  17. Nice work!
  18. Saw the advertisement for this reel on WFN.....Seems to be a pretty cool concept, also has good reviews on cabelas.. I'm thinking it would be a good reel for using braids and super lines, which for me seem to be prone to wind knots, while fishing with jerkbaits.
  19. Very nice fish!.....What tactics were employed to catch these nice bronzebacks?
  20. Highly visible in the water?
  21. After a while does the "finish" wear off, and then become highly visible and retain water like other braids and such?
  22. hmmm.......maybe stick with a good-quality mono.
  23. Super-lines for me are good for two things: 1.) Flat-lining: trolling with anything more han 50' behind the boat, and 2.) Ice-fishing using the berkeley micro-ice fireline.
  24. Seen that berkeley has a new super-line/monofilament out, just wanted to see if any fellow anglers have tried it out yet, before dropping the cash on it?
