Wow that's a big... Mountain Lion! While I'm usually the first to say Better the cat goes before some child dissapears, it would seem out of place here. Such an amazing animal, taken from its wild splendor, killed by ignorance and greed. Bumer. Still, thanx for posting John. tight loops

Actually Grant, 2 cents would be translated into 0.02, or a dollar amount. For this thread count to add up to 0.80, you'd need 40 replies... And well... that would be down right nutty. GNAWWW Juste mes $0.02.

All I can say is wow! That last shot is the epitamy of canoing in the back country... You must have a good command of your canoe to go through those rapids on that Swift! Thank you. Keep em coming! Oh yeah, noice canoe!

I second that notion. Sorry Scott, but that's the muddiest chrome I've ever seen... I'm not questioning your skills as a steelheader, just your landing technique. Ever try tailing instead of beaching? These fish deserve your care and proper handling, just like your centerpin.. Besides, don't they look better clean and unblemished, rather than covered in muck? cheers Mcfiddler

Nice one mang! However, the pikesicle skit is rather disturbing... Yeeeessshhh. Up for another absent minded office worker exodus down to the lakefront this week duude?? ayoooo Mcfiddlesticks

Calm blue ocean... Calm blue Ocean.. Fishing is supposed to be therapeutic. Your blood pressure is supposed to drop! I try not to loose it, but it's stronger than me sometimes. I think we've all been in that spot at some point in time. Peter, I do recall a certain outting to OP last year though.. Remember? I was slaying em that day and you were cursing under your breath.. I know I would have lost it!! I certainly hope that the fish gods have been kinder to you since. cheers Diddlhis Kahn

Noice one Tony! Gotta love that honey hole... And the choice of lures. I'd better de-rust some of my old jointeds... thanx brotha!

Great Maureen! I'll see y'all there. Chris, any chance you donating a couple more of your wonders rods?? P.S. I had donated a box of hand tied flies last year... Wondering whom it was that picked them up and how they're performing!
-
mmmmmkay... In unrelated news, This just in! Bellbottoms are in style again! MUAHAH

I'll second that. I've also had a pair of Simms Polar fleece fingerless gloves and they work quite nicely. Only draw back is that they can get waterlogged. When this happens, I just take em off and twist em up a bit to work the water out and they're good to go! Speaking of which, I recently lost em at Oshawa a coupla weeks back... I hope whoever picks em up enjoys them as much as I have.

Ahaha! I can only imagine how the idea of Ernest Borgnine came to play.. But I luuuv it! Grant, we need to talk about your ratios. Let's not stray from the subject here. You require professional help. You're beyond help, but I could offer some guidance, dear sir. We need to dissect your hook set, playing and landing techniques. then and only then will we be able to get to the root of this terrible affliction. hehehe HD

Wow! Thanx for sharing that.

highdrifter replied to highdrifter's topic in General Discussion
Wut up G.? Kept a shaker from last weekend actually. The flesh was of a red I have rarely seen, and with some dijon and fresh dill, it was freaking delish! Havn't been piking in a while. I tend to forget about em while Im in trout mode.. We should hit up the Humber soon though mang! Got a spot just for us absent minded office workers... -

Hey gang! Been a while.. Digging the new forum. Luuv the new layout. It's gonna take some getting used to. Kinda like a brand new pair of tighty withies. At first, the fit is constrictive. But after a while, it becomes a part of you! Thought I'd start things off on the new board with some shots of chunky squirrels I took over the weekend. NOT. I'll give ya want you all came to see. Some CHROME. wuuuut! And here she is. You set into such a fish in gin clear waters and you're never the same. Ain't she pretty?! And the release, of course. cheers H. to the D.
