The mouth little turd should not have been in that spot....nor does the camera offer the full story of what occurred. The officer was suspended with pay to appease, the whiney do good public.... The officer should be referred to as officer.......it is what he is. just like a preacher should be referred to as Reverend or Pastor. The camera does not tell the whole story......If you are asked by a person of authority to do something, it is not up for discussion.....it should be done. Too bad the officer never had a under 18 year brother to come and kick the crap out of the mouth piece

We have a skate park around the corner.....that the local business paid to get......problem is we need to have the users wear protective equipment (helmets, knee and elbow pads), the cots is 10 per year. Park is open from 9 am till dusk all summer long, we at the local chamber pay to have staff.......cant keep staff.....they have break downs for the verbal abuse.......I am 30 years old.....and was once avid skateboarder, I always know what was proper and used common sense. Insurance premiums and lawsuits dont bid well for young skateboarders.....not to mention the attitudes

On my property I have posted no skateboard signs....there skateboards or there attitudes do cause damage to property.......there are skateboard parks where mommies and daddies of these ruffians can play...not to mention the insurance liability if they fall and get hurt That being said.....if you are huning or fishing in a non designated zone, the CO can seize everything and fine you for this infraction without any questions asked. Everyone agrees that people who tresspass inout world(ie. fishing or hunting) should be dealt with the full hard hand of the law...... This idea of kids having no place to go irks me to no end........perhaps there parents should move......or they should buy land to play.......business and industry pay taxes that support parks

Diagree with the whole board on this one......too often these little punks are walking around with absolutely no respect for any type of authority....as a property owner I have chased off these "little Gems" more often then any of you realize........I get nothing but lip service, whether I am polite or not.....It is true that these kids need to learn respect and maybe get a kick in the A5s when it is needed.

Tunes on the boat are a good thing....tunes out the mrs. from asking about going to the urban barn or ikea

There is nothing wrong with a hockey team doing something civic minded...raking leaves, shovelling snow... when they have these chocolate drives the only winner is the orginal chocolate maker. Many "charitiable organization have executive directors making big momney for little effort. The school system is a joke......the education system thinks that they need to provide a program for special needs students. These programs are often based in core schools, where parenting is suspect at best and home discpline is never thought of. If the education system where to clean up its act, and have the guts to place some of the accountablilty back on the parents, several, not all, of these programs could be discontinued, resulting in extra gov't funding for other organizations By the way, many call centres, ie. Shirner, Firefighters, Police services, Circus telemarketers are able to retain 45% of any thing they sell. Always be careful with them

Someone needs to buy at the Teacher's Pension to get rid of Peddie. They had a shot at getting a good hockey guy in John Muckler last summer with Bowman as his advisor. Muckler told them what he wanted in with respect to control of decisions on personel, they were insulted. We get stuck with the "Plugs" that are on the ice now. Peddie isn't a hockey guy he thiks he is. The only smart move he made has hiring Colangelo to run the Raptors. Just because Peddie is Canadian doesnt mean he knows anything about hockey

A couple of years ago I was fishing with a less than skilled fisherman......Trying to cast a musky killer.....with a 36 inch leader....with a rod that was a ultralight......I kept giving hom the dickens about being careful......Next thing I know I have a musky killer caught in my toque...as he closes the bail and sets the hook.......He may not have been a master caster but I will give him props on his ability to set hooks.....Buried the treble right to the bend. Needless to say a trip to the hospital and 3 stiches and numerous lauging medical staff all was well. As a point of observation....when you get back to camp or cottage, be very alarmed of other fisherman, usually with a malt beverage in hand offering to perform surgery....it seemed to me that the more liquidified the surgeons are the more it hurt. Just my two cents

That's great info.....the big Kahuna sounds like the way to go......even sounds good....come prepared are not at all. Thanks's again for your advice one and all.....Minor surgery for a hook-endectomy is not a lot of fun..trust me

Hand balming and taking out huge hooks....I knew there was a better way.....even the cradle is scary...netting is the way to go Thanks

Just checking......maybe someone along the way has steered me wrong....but I was told that nets and muskie don't mix. The slime layer is removed by nets. Here i have been absolutely terrified at boat side as I land these monsters. A buddy of mine put a hook in my head....and I surely dont want one in the head. I have used a cradle in the past but even that is difficult. Any suggestions on netting procedures Thanks V

Hey there...been a lurker for a longtime....learning the secrets of muskie fishing lol...dont get as much time on the water as I would like to....but love the info and friendship that I have seen passed around......dont want to be that lurker anymore. I fish at moira lake as often as I can.....looking forward to openning of season......Only question I will ask is...when does muskie season start
