  1. I don't like your comment, keep stuff like that to yourself please! Haven't you heard of a freak accident? And don't you realize that some people, are hurting from this loss and are possibly reading these forums.......
  2. If it is in fathoms.... What does the M mean a little further out from the mouth of the Humber. My guess meter depth but so and so^^ got me calculating fathoms
  3. I think I know what I'm doing all day. A chart of the depth of the estuary section of rivers would be awesome,, so if I'm reading this correctly, the mouth of the Humber river says 0.5. So is that 1 yard 3 feet deep? I always thought it was like 15 20 feet deep, maybe that's just cuz of the dirty chocolate color?
  4. 23 Ridley cres is in a neighbourhood now, but its awefully close to the rouge river so you can wet a line
  5. These guys got it right, I dunked a centerpin in a mud bath, was about a 12-15" hole it was down for about 10 min until I peeled all my line off to retrieve it, tap water q tip and machine oil it's working great.
  6. Nice post, but you gotta stop liping those pike
  7. Awesome you look thrilled:) One day ill have a big shiny boat and get out there before I kick the bucket looks like a lot of fun
  8. 549 views 24 replies. I bet the and the other snaggers are reading this cant we weed out the lurkers?
  9. Sweet, congrats on the chinny! I bet your still pumped! From the fish not the douch hole, I've learned a new trick, I pick up rocks pretending to look for bugs and I throw them in the run beside the fools. They either leave or a good. argument starts.
  10. 6'0 180 185 This sounds like a dating profile type of site lol
  11. 28-30 lbs is huge but not uncommon. The largest weight this year for me is 15lb 9-10oz on my digi scale. If I didn't have the scale I would have been saying it was 20-25lbs. Don't assume large fish weight the beasts Nice fish btw you look happy:) but it looks like my 15 pounder I'd post the pic but I'm on an iPad and don't know how to reduce the size...
  12. Rainbows are only in 300 fow in the big lake. They never ever see a river. It's a myth
  13. Ooh neat, I have never ever seen one before but it sure is pretty. Good job
  14. I like to thread the line through the majority of the worm. Tie on your hook, pierce the worm about an inch from the end thread the hook and line lengthwise through the worm and out the coller, I have the hook dangling just under the coller, to stop the hook from sliding back use a little bead or bobber stopper. Does this make sence? If I knew how to draw a picture and post it I would
  15. . I like earplug and treble hook setup ESP when the CO is lookingAnd I apologize for sounding condescending, I was just being a little sarcastic all in good humour
  16. I've only center pinned and fly fished from shore by the locks. Lots of bass for my friends and I
  17. Surprisingly fish do eat worms
  18. Here I was thinking it was a saltwater pumpkinseed-catfish with all those spots..
  19. Humm I would have put money that it was a coho. With the predominately white mouth and the smaller size of the fish in this system compared to lake O chinook
  20. Hey all, I hooked into this one up on manitoulin island last week. Is it a coho? Whiteish mouth. And don't laugh at my retarded facial expressions
  21. The above mentioned creek is void of life PM sent
  22. Interesting, thanks for that info! If only we could have conversations with fish
  23. I'm not doubting you because of your status in life and on the boards... But if I only had a picture... There was a silver slab of fish at my feet last night and this wasnt the first time. i have been targeting steelhead and salmon for 9 years and have seen this silver many times upstream from the river mouth. I don't do drugs so I wasn't hallucinating please explained that sliver shiny fish 1/4 km up stream from the river??
  24. Posted Today, 10:11 AM Surprisingly silver for this time of year. Nice going. The fish is so silver because the gentleman who caught it said he caught it off a pier in a lake. Salmon can remain silver up to 3 days upon entering the river system and usually won't change Colours or physical appearance (ie. Kype jaw) until 12-24hrs in the river systems from my observations. Last night on a local Lake Ontario trib 30 or so minutes after sunset a big chrome slab decided to linger in a foot of water inches from my toes. He was so silver I could see my reflection lol. This was all within a quarter kilometre of the rivers mouth.
