Nothing to do with the Leafs but this is pretty funny.
Great way to get around the 2 minute extra penalty if you remove your helmet for a fight.
Brett Gallant and Krys Barch challenged each other to a bout in an NHL exhibition game Thursday night, but before they began pummelling each other they exhibited civility not unlike duelling Englishmen. But it wasn't a show of manners for the NHL forwards. The New York Islanders winger and his New Jersey Devils counterpart removed each other's helmets prior to the tilt to circumvent a new NHL rule. The rule prevents fighters from taking their own helmets off, punishable by an extra two minutes in the penalty box.So what a better solution than to do the honours for your opponent? Effective, and rather humourous. At first, it appeared Barch was about to remove his own helmet, but quickly put it back on and let Gallant do the honours.Take a look at the spectacle below:

I wouldnt consider Hamilton GTA, but its just going to be another stadium over-run by the blue and white boys just like every other stadium within 5000km. Lol

Why are the Sens fans chanting "GO LEAFS GO"?
-
Look at all of the people on their way to pick up their 2013-2014 seasons tickets!!

LOL thats funny.. Sens games should be free..I mean who wants to pay to watch them? lol
The Sens part of the ticket is free.
The Lightning part is $45. :rofl2: :rofl2:

So next spring I'm heading down to Florida for 6 weeks to do a little fishin' & relaxin'.
I'm going to be in St' Pete's for the month of March and being a Canuck I can't be without my hockey fix for that long so I picked up some Lightning tickets to go catch some live hockey over in Tampa. It seems that Tampa is the third cheapest market in the NHL so seating is quite reasonable there.
I took in a game last time I was there and had 7 row on the visitors blue line for $90 a seat. Be lucky to get nose bleeds in TO for that price.
So, since I'm going to be there for the whole month I figured I would take in a few games.
I got tickets for the Bruins on March 8th and Canucks on the 17th both sets are 5th row next section closer to the visitors net.
I also just picked up tickets in the same section 4th row to watch the Sens lose on the 24th.
The most expensive tickets were Boston (premium team on Saturday night) at $100 a piece.
The cheapest were the Sens (anyone really surprised about this? ) at $45 a piece.
With service charges etc my pair of tickets to the Sens/Lightning game were $116.40 US.

Yep, losing 6 minutes a day at this point. Thanks Drifter, you must be losing a lot of daylight up there, it's a magical part of the world though, I want to go back
Won't be long before I'm drilling holes and riding the sled.
Got about a month of open water fishing left.

We only burn soft woods up here because there are no hardwoods.
Mostly it is black spruce but also some pine.
As has been said it is fine as long as it's dry.
Even then I would hop up on the roof a couple of times a winter and run my chimney brush down the pipe to clean out any buildup.

You can actually buy outboard motor paint @ CT.
I got a couple of cans of black for LU touch-ups.

That's an LCX-16 not an X-16.
The X-16 was an awesome paper graph made in the late 80's early 90's.
Couldn't tell you about the LCX-16 but my X-16 was very good back in the day.
As for map chips for the LCX look on Ebay.

Sucks, your dealer couldn't help you?
G. Loomis is even worse now...
G Loomis is owned by Shimano so why should that surprise you? :-/

Shortened season or not. I think he is a good player. Hopefully Franson gets signed soon. It should be a fun year for hockey with a full season and a lot of new signings. Oct 1 cant come soon enough.
Oct 1st.
First pre-season game on CBC is tomorrow night!!!

Home Depot has it.Thanks for the suggestions. I might try this Diamond Deck vinyl http://www.homedepot.ca/product/5-feet-x-3-feet-metallic-graphite-door-mat/998345 if it's not too heavy. Astroturf wouldn't show any marks but where can you get it?
-
I'm lucky that no gas station North of 60* has corn juice in the gas.
-
A piece of astroturf works fine.
I have even used it in an inflatable raft with good results.

Another great trip in the books Mike.
Looks like it was a blast.
And congratulate Jo on her pig pike for me.

NICE!!
How'd it taste?

I just added a pair of Costa's to my stable of shades tonight.
-
Furthermore, that original price seems steep for non-polarized lenzes.
Yes it is steep as most of the Oakley shades in non-polarized are in the $125-$150 range and the polarized are $190-$220 range most places.
-
Doesn`t say that those lenzes are polarized. Just sayin..
That's because they aren't polarized.
Look nice but useless fer fishin'
Oakley has a bunch of non-polarized glasses.
If you want the same ones but polarized add another $100.
