    I have a cover I bought off ebay.

    But that's not all, I store it in one of those portable garages as well.

    I found out long ago that leaving it outside even with a good cover and supports that the covers would fail fairly quickly.

    I figure you could spend $500-$600 on a high end cover or $150 on a cover and in my case $500 on a pair of fabric garages on sale to get me a 10X40 garage and still cover my boat from dust etc.

    Gives me room inside to work on my truck or sled as well. ;)

    The covers for my garages have been lasting about 5 years @ about $160 each to replace when they start to leak.

    My inexpensive boat cover is 8 years old and in good shape. :D

  12. Fishfinder reviews/opinions wanted Lowrance or Hummingbird?

    Another Lowrance guy here.

    Don't have any experience with the model you are wanting but I have had other high end models forever and they have always run well. I am still using my trusty LMS-350A that I purchased back in the mid 90's. Before it I had an X-16 paper graph which never gave me a problem either. I also have a Mark V-DSI on my boat that has run perfectly fine.

    Another unit I have had for a while is a lower end Garmin which is also a good unit.

    I was not aware of your personal situation. Im not sure maybe you mentioned it on here and I just missed it???

     

    Thats completely insane what is happening to you and your family, im soooo very sorry. And like a good man, i know youde do whatever it takes(as would most of us) for your family.

     

    This is a little off topic but ive seen some people posting on a website to get donations for certain causes. I wish I remembered the name???

     

    Try to find it so us OFCers can donate and share the heck out of it.

     

    I know charity is not the preferred choice for most strong family men, but geez at this point it cant hurt.

     

    How in this country is medicine so expensive???? 60,000/month and not covered????

     

    Human lives exceed dollar amounts. Somewhere we have this assbackwards
