  1. My Prazzi lathe is a metal lathe.

You can see the tool holder, the blue cutting tool is mounted in it.

The tool holder is a turret tool holder that rotates. It can hold a few different cutters @ the same time and rotates so you can use the tool you want.

I used to get most of my balsa @ Hobby Hobby in Streetsville.

I actually got a batch last time I came to visit.

Really need to do something with it. :D

  2. Sens have 3 less goals than the habs in the 3 games. 2 have been overtime losses 6 goals to the habs 9.

It could be a very different series than what it is now and who knows, if Ottawa can pick it up, might be a series after all.

HAHAHAHA!!!! You sure sound like one of those delusional Leafs fans you're always busting on!!!!

Welcome to the club Matt!!!! :tease: :tease: :tease: :tease: :tease: :tease:

  3. Sad about the rhinos for sure.

They are pretty serious about their conservation and game enforcement in Africa now.

Most of the time the park rangers and game cops just fill the poachers full of lead.

    I myself like trolling.

Caught the fish in my profile pic trolling. ;)

  4. UH, they guys wrist isn't broken.

    It's not even fractured.

    The bone is bruised.

You ever smack your shin on the coffee table?

Hurts like a IQ challenged but your leg is not broken.

Normal people would just say he's got a bone bruise.

Sens say he's got a microfracture in order to sway the player safety guys to suspend Subban and turn him into Igor the Terrible.

A hit to the head and resulting concussion is way more serious than a bone bruise IMHO.

  5. I use a home made lathe to turn my floats.

I also turn my rod handle cork on it.

The lathe is made from 2 old Makita battery drills.

The head stock has the motor in it. It is cooled by 2 computer fans as I am running it @ 12 volts and it's a 7.2 volt motor.

The tail stock is just chuck and support bearings, no motor.

I run it off either a 12 volt power supply or one of my 12 volt batteries.

Shaping floats is done with various grades of sandpaper glued to pieces of MDF or aluminium.

Shaping my rod handles is done first with chisels and finished using the sandpaper.

I turn my floats on a mandrel made of 6-32 threaded rod with threaded sleeves to hold in the chucks.
