  1. ANNNNNNNNNNND they'll still win the Cup before the Sens!!!
  2. You bet!!! As long as they continue to play hard and try their best I have no issues with them losing for a while. But come 2018 and beyond they better start out scoring the opposition.
  3. yeaaaah....................................UH, NO!!! If he was doing that to my place the pellet gun would put a quick stop to it.
  4. HAHAHA!!! That's like my Yamaha. 700#'s dry!!! Been in deep slush a couple of times. It's nice to have 120 HP because you can instantly get on top of that stuff.
  5. Pretty decent show tonight so far. Took these out in the driveway about an hour ago. I'm thinking Pink Floyd should be doing a gig in my driveway.
  6. The original worked for me. Took me to Photobucket and the vid automatically played.
  7. If it had been caught when it happened it may have been called a penalty, but no penalties will be called after the fact with the coaches challenge.
  8. Most of my boats rivets are near impossible to get to without removing most of the interior. The 3/16" closed end stainless rivets I'm using require a special rivet gun to install. I use my neighbours rivet gun as they use one for installing rivets in car window regulators. Similar to one of these. The rivets are rated 967#s shear and 989#'s tensile strength. http://www.hansonrivet.com/closed-end-blind-rivets.htm
  9. I replace popped rivets on my boat with stainless closed end blind rivets. They are stronger than the originals. I use either 5200 or sikaflex for sealing.
  10. Looks mint!!!! I wish my little Skidoo Citation looked that good. Hopefully it will after restoration.
  11. We had one in our back yard in Grand Valley in the winter 1996 or 1997. FYI Lynx have stubby little tails like docked Rotweillers. OH, and they have those pointy bits of hair on the tips of their ears.

  13. They really aren't portage friendly. At least the SOT kayaks. If the trail is decent it's not much of an issue as you can get carts to help with the transport.
  14. Took the day off work today. Got the dock pulled for the winter today. I also started disassembling the shabby shack and cleaned up the site. Moved all of the lumber needed inside to it's location and other lumber is stored under the cabin. Moved all of the skids out of the way as well. I even managed 2 hours of fishing. Poked over a dozen poikes in that time. A couple of good ones in the 15# range as well as a couple of monsters lost. I know at least one was in the 20+ range.
  15. We have had them in town up here too. They have never had to tranq or shoot one that I know of. They have shut down parks they were frequenting though. There have been bears shot in town as they don't want to risk tranqing them and having them injure someone before the drugs take effect. We had a lynx run over by a car downtown one winter and early one winter morning I saw a wolverine waling up my street!!!
  16. Not the ocean in the Southern parts.
  17. I have a friend in Alaska that fishes salmon and halibut year round out of a Hobie Mirage kayak. Last year he managed to catch a king salmon out of his yak in every month of the year.
  18. Exactly!!! -20 with no wind will have me sitting on my sled ice fishing in a hoodie!!!
  19. As has been pointed out, guns are not the problem. People are!!! 29 killed in China by knife-wielding attackers!!! http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/01/world/asia/china-railway-attack/
  20. May do some work but it's pretty dang cold here in the winter. Probably do some during any warm spells if we get any.
  21. If I had the $$$$ I would get a Hobie Pro Angler. My buddy Sam has one of these and they are "The Ultimate" fishing kayak bar none!!! http://www.hobiefishing.com/mirage/mirage-pro-angler-14/
  22. Made it out to the cabin today. The weather was less than stellar but at least the winds weren't too bad. Had to bundle up for the ride up the lake in the cold and snow. Got the gable end sheathing done!!! Also got some of the holes in the crawlspace closed up and some tarps up to help keep the snow out. Next weekend it will be time to pull the dock for the winter.
