I disputed your argument before you wrote it....lol and again harassing(fishing for) spawning fish is illegal, so of course no one would take a picture of them your argument just doesn't hold water

DanC, it is illegal to fish for spawning fish, so the taking of pictures would be the lest of his problems and in this neck of the woods most honest people will tell you that most OOS fish are caught well before the spawn when they come in to eat after winter and while fishing for in season fish the OOS fish get caught because they are eatting not spawning... the OOS fish equals spawning fish is crap ..bass are out of season for well over half the year but only spawn for a few weeks..so statements of OOS = spawning fish are from misinformed people or people trying bending the truth to prove a point I will bet that I have not caught an OOS fish that was spawning in over 20 years, but have caught lots of oos fish while fishing for legal fish............

the problem is, the MNR likes to tell everyone that you can be charged for getting your picture taken with an OOS fish and it's true you can be charged but not for the photo but for keeping a fish out of water too long and it dies forthwith in the context of the law means within a reasonable time, a normal time and in a quick enough time that the fish would be expected to live.... if you /they took forthwith to mean the second you know you have a OOS fish on your line then you would have to cut your line or you would have to leave the hooks in or if you hook your finger bring the fish in you would have to cut your finger off rather then take the time to remove the hook safely ..but that silly forthwith only means in a timely fashion

Trophymuskie you are 100% wrong it is not illegal more then a few of us have had letters and emails from top MNR guys and it was not .. I was going into a long explanation.....but I will bet anyone right now 1 million bucks that it is not illegal for me to take a photo of an OOS fish put up or shut up

unless it's an old nero you go to dvd then to make own dvd then add video files then burn or if you just want to store them on a dvd just burn them as data

I hear lake ontario is open much of the holland river froze last weekend but seems to be open now, as far as I can see going over the bridges, so I will be most likely on it this weekend too

no one jump on you about it, because there are only a couple of.......guys.. that care whether or not people post OOS fish.... it is legal to take a photo of OOS fish but to control the few that go crazy over it.. they decided to not allow it any way.....nice of you to post about your mistake, I am sure I and others will be making the same mistake in the future

I have been playing with a small baitcaster reel and a 7' rod it sure stops the problem with line twist on dropshot rigs

there are some open spots on cooks too some rain and high winds might do the trick

you can also draw the picture of the fish, like we did for Lew and crazy and if you get a big one you get one of these which would be 45", converted to US but you have to post pictures...lol

no I can't tell you I was on the holland river two Saturdays ago in my boat I went to go fishing last Saturday and it had refroze ..it will be a week or 2 before the lake is clear of ice

you are right Big Cliff, but that's why I say stick with the well known ones...I can see them having a player in high stakes game but not in smaller stakes game, but because they would be able to see all hands..it would be easy to beat everyone
