How big an affect will winter kill have on small lakes?

I have seen many years with more ice and there was lots of snow to insulate the lakes, so don't know that it will be that bad -
the rod does not count as a spring every time you set the hook normally you load up the rod which is a spring action that sets the hook...and so the spring devise has to be other then the rod to be illegal

very cool...for May..lol and the rod holder only loads up the rod and no other spring device so it is 100% legal

I did use a long rope the problem was the wind and the very rocky shoreline and cement ramp If I had a remote anchor or one of those talin pole anchors with a remote it would be real easy to launch by myself.

bunks I have no trouble when there is a second person, but the test spin was solo I do hope they put the docks in this week

it was free but there is still ice floating around on simcoe....so if the win d was right there could be ice moving in

got the boat in simcoe for a test flight all was well but it isn't easy with no docks in I made a few casts for perch but didn't see any come on simcoe trout opener
