Can anyone recomend a decent operator, good fishing would be a bonus closer to the gta the better .

If there isn't alot of snags down there i would use an egg sinker with a swivel to hold it in place and a glo corky with some floaters in the sac to get it up off the bottom.

Hit a fav trib of mine this morning searching for some browns, gotta few little shakers. Im fishing a tailout of a pool behind some spawning white tip salmon, and i see this big greenish shadow move up through the rapids. First drift after that float goes down i set the hook huge headshake than a 100 yd dash through the trees and creek. Pulled her out of the lumber twice and was praying that the 6lb trilene would hold up it did. All in all a good way to start the work day.

As a member of a caw local I am not directly effected by the strike but can only see this as a bad thing for all parties envolved. Big companys ALWAYS have and ALWAYS will try to take advantage of people, I work for a worldwide corporation that wise fined huge amounts for paying equally qualified individuals less than others because of race. This same company is being accused of kidnapping torturing and killing union leaders and organizers in Colombia and South america. Unions i agree do protect the lazy and useless but what are our other options?!?!?? When one makes 20 million Ten thousand people lose! Hopefully this is settled quickly or alot of people will be out of work. They cant move the whole automotive sector to mexico, or can they?

Iwent to check out some western tribs on the weekend no water=no fish. Saw a few in the saugeen but not many, some of the other creeks are totally dried up we need rain badly. What happens if we dont get it does anyone know? Do they stay in the lake or do they attempt to run a dried up river?

Another river report i decided to bust out the noodle rod and get used to it cause the salmon and browns will be up the creeks soon enough. Floated a worm as if it were a roe bag with wicked results. Great day on the river went to a few spots around the Brantford area. Double header Caught a couple of mooneyes And alot of big dirty suckers Also got the $hit scraped outta my arm by some nettles but it was all worth it!

Those f-16's were buzzing around alot today I work right by the airport in brampton saw them doing manuevers. Very cool wonder what its like to fly one!

Ya man there fine in the cooler just treat them like worms dont leave them in the sun and keep them cool they'll be fine i had some survive all weekend a few weeks back. The leeches and you fellas may all be screwed if its as HOT as it was today have a good trip.

I've never fished there myself but it looks like a shallow weedy bay like long point. Id say light coloured spinnerbaits they allways produce for me in long point.

I caught one in the grand at wilkes dam in brantford about 2 lbs fat like a football real healthy looking fish probably a released pet.

Neither team has a chance at the cup so it dosen't matter. lets go red wings!!!

I've got a pti quantum and a symetre both bought the same season I use the quantum more but its the symetre thats more beat up dunno if im just rougher on it but my vote goes to the quantum.
