I think they played extremely well and surpassed everyones expectations. Sure they choked, but theyre one of the youngest teams in the league and the future looks 10x what it did last year at this time. I'm proud to be a Leaf fan and haven't been that exited for a Leaf team in a long time. Guess this thread is all yours mmatt, have fun heckling yourself. Im out.

Going to Callander Bay area first weekend in June. Hoping that with the late spring, the action will be pretty decent for pike out that way. Anyone have experience/ tips on lure choice would be great. Reading on the state of the walleye fishery isn't too promising and I know there are some ridiculously big pike in there, so I'm hoping to make this a trip to remember. I'm planning on bringing my boat, but the other guys are fairly novice in regards to fishing and I think are more inclined to fish for walleye. If I can persuade them in another direction, I'm going to do so. Thanks for any tips you can throw out there, feel free to pm if you think its more appropriate!

Great job by the Isles to go down fighting! Wish it had gone the other way. ^^ I also made some poor predictions. Crosby showed why he is far and away the best player in the game. Puh-leeeeze one facewash and Crosby will become irate. Its a well known fact that he loses his cool on a regular basis. They should sit him for the series.

The short story doesnt favour the isles at all. Outscored 16-5 the last 4 meetings for the series win. Tavares held to 2pts. However, Crosby figured on 9 of those. So when you remove his pts, itbecomes a little more fathomable that the Isles have a shot. This is Nabokovs last kick at the can and I think he'll rise to the occasion. Couple that with a younger, faster team in the Isles, i think this is the big upset in the East. The D is a little small though and Morrow, Iginla and Malkin will be all over them. Letang will be key in stopping Tavares and Moulson. Hes having a Norris year. Still calling Isles in 6 esp if hothead Crosby comes back and messes with the chemistry of the team.

Also, if youre out solo and fall in, use the trim switch on the motor to hoist you up if youre too tired to haul yourself up and into the boat.

If you're taking someone out on your boat, show them the basic controls. If you become disabled for some reason, the time you spent showing them where and how everything works could mean the difference between life and death.

Always wondered why people get so worked up about things? If people just came over, worked a job and made some friends, shoot the breeze with the neighbours over a cold bevvy and share some time in a boat, they might realize that theres only so much to be concerned about?

Not a bad bet on MMs side. Leafs really need to make a statement Saturday. They've come out flat the last two outings and need to get their legs under them. But if the Sens play the game they played against Washington, the Leafs will be in for a long night. Looks like the wrong teams are waking up at the right time. Winnepeg, Washington, NYI and Ottawa are all rolling at full mast.
