okay, sounds like a plan. what do you guys do for attaching lures? i got one of those jigging rapalas and some jigs today, do i just straight tie, or can i use a small swivel so i can switch up?

do you buy them individually, or buy a spool and cut pieces off?

i was thinking of getting fireline crystal ice, but you only get like 50 yards or something, lol. what else is out there for braided ice line?

i dont know if you guys have seen the sale on the 2 berkly ice rods at CT this week, but i picked it up. Came with a light action and a box of 4lbs micro ice, and the second rod is heavier and came with 6lbs to spool on to it. Im wondering what i should use for a leader on the 6lbs, and how do you connect them and how long? thanks

I was just out riding my sled on Penetang, its all good boys, I was even skipping that bit of water by the marker lights on shore. I got a couple new rods at CT today, and some new lures at tromblys, may get out tomorrow

some nice set ups here, id go for one on a different sled, but this sled i rip hard and most that stuff would be history. I use a folding manual auger, so maybe i can strap it onto my back bumper some how. I think im going fishing this weekend, so i'll take a picture if i can get it figured out.

Ok, so last year i had no problem taking my stuff ice fishing, i would put my rods in my backpack, same with the scoop along with the minnows in a cylinder shaped cooler thing. And then my dad would put the auger on his sled, which was a indy touring at the time. But now he upgraded to a 09 mxz etec, and i doubt he will put my auger on his new sled, and well, theres really nowhere to put it. My question is, how can i carry my auger on my sled? heres a pics of my sled so you get an idea.
