The CTC in south-end Barrie, had the majority of rods sold. No huts or augers left, but still a great selection of lures, as of Saturday afternoon.

Funny I was wondering and asked the same thing on this forum a few days ago, but it never got posted!! Do I smell or something??? As far as the LS Message board goes - I have no idea, but the timing is terrible!

I fished Kenogaming Lake a few years back with a bunch of buddies, and the pike bit well. They were not trophies (largest was 30") but man were they aggressive! We stayed at a lodge, but 90% of the lake is surrounded by crown.... .

I have just discovered a new winter passion for ice fishing. I am just in the process of gearing up and had a question to all of you out there: Is it okay for me to use my normal light and ultralight reels, instead of buying the ones that come with the rods? Will I do harm to my summer reels using them all winter? Thanks!

Just wondering if any one can recommend a good lodge to fish at for the upcoming season (4 night stay). Usually we are a group of 15 or so, and like to travel say no more than 5-6 hours from Barrie. We are very flexible with the species of fish, we just like them to bite!! Since we want to fish and not cook, An American plan is a must. Thanks!!
