Me and a couple of my friends had a couple days off this week so we decided to take advantage of it! we ended up hitting up every trib on the east side of lake ontario, other than a couple mishaps(leaving the light and radio on before passing out) we had an awsome time. did i mention we also caught some fish and lost many more;)

DONT do what he ^^ said... fishing at most dams are illegal and would result in a real hefty fine. i cant beleive u would even think to post that?
-
actually if u just upload your pics through photobucket and click the edit button there is an option to let u blurr out objects or in this case backgrounds! && secret tactic was float fishing with bright coloured flies and roe

haha i guess it was kinda negative... i just didnt want a full inbox of "where did you go fishing" or "hey your my friend right?" msgs... i felt like it was a valid point to put out. thanks for the comments! the early bird gets the first worm!

First of all im stating this now in the beginning of the the post.... i will not tell anyone where i fished. This is because i went out on my own time with my friends and put in our leg work to find these fish, and i feel everyone should do the same. Anyways just ENJOY the pics.... Ho ho's for days some chinney love, one and only fish to bite the dust this year.. So i start working again tomorow after a two and half weeks off, everyone have a safe a fun salmon season!

so ive been looking into this crown land camping thing for a while now and still havent found enough info on it. basicaly me and some friends are planning to go for a weekend - week camping trip anywhere with in a 3 - 4 hour drive of toronto. the only thing is we all wanted to do it back road style and not in a provincial or private camp ground. so if anyone knows an good area or spot we can go to on crown land feel free to pm me, it has to be on a body of water for fishing reasons. thank you

beleive it or not me and a2f were actually on that stretch of shwa yesterday as the storm hit, it all happend with in 5 min. we got pelted with hail the size of dimes and had to dodge a couple of those trees u had pictured to get to the thomas st. parking lot lol.
-
heres a couple more pics i took yesterday after we got into the truck. 3 min prior to this we were fishing a pool just north of thomas street then it started to drizzle then hail, at that point we ran back to the parking lot and we got soaked and pelted. trying to get out to simcoe street from thomas. driving down on bloor street. then just like it came out of nowhere it was gone.. i dont know if this intersection had no stop light before but it certainly doesnt now... we didnt see anyone that need help or was hurt in result of the falling trees but i know there are enough damages.

was just finishing up a trip up at scugog and we decided to see if we could pull some bass out of the shwa and we fished it for 5 min before she turned to hail then tornado winds to trees falling across the bike path to trees falling over thomas street. and everyother street we passed by had some sort of broken tree part just lying there. the odd part was it came and left with in 10 min. crazyyy

adult resident trout. they stay and live in the creeks rather than going out to get big out in the lake.

go back to basics, try float fishing with a big fat juicy night crawler.... ofcourse your prolly gona have to cast infront of the cruising bass cause the smaller ones will definatly get to the worm before the big ones do. good luck!

Trout fishing on the Rouge River but what did I catch...
l2p replied to ben306's topic in General Discussion
those little pesky buggers u caught were prolly chubs, their everywhere in the rouge or any east river for that matter... -
hey all, heard word from a friend that theres a lake on the grand up by fergus called belwood lake. from what ive heard there is warm water species above the dam in the lake and a good stretch of trout river below. now for my questions, what specific species can be caught(just wanna know so i know what to pack and bring) and second, is there any special regs that we should know about? ive fished the forks of the credit and know that some specific regs do apply such as barbless hooks and no live bait and such but am not to sure if it applies on the grand. any info would be of great help, and if need be a pm would suffice. thanks again! -l2p

started working full time a couple weeks back and havent had time to go out as much, took advantage of todays mild weather and decided to sneek around a local stream. lots of different species out and about, also hungry Brookies Rainbows Browns And even atlantics all in all very relaxing and refreshing day out.
