I have looked through the regulations about having a shotgun and bow at the sametime . Can anyone clear this for me? Come next week it will be turkey time(would sooner knock the head off the bird, then shot through the body with an arrow,dont want to waste good meat), it will only be bow for deer.To me, Im covering both senerios.

Yep what he said. I have the 4.2 6 cyl manual, and get the same if not more, as when new.They dont make the 4.2 now in the full size.

Ok Jacques,so what yer saying is,good luck.LOL TC1OZ I dont own the land (wish I did) nor do I have to pay the taxes(thankfully,but would be willing to help if asked).I do though,share my havests with the land owner.My second year hunting on his property,I was lucky enough to shot a 7 pointer.He was given a quarter of the animal.Butchered and wrapped at my expense. The following spring,I was lucky to get two turkeys.First was mine,as it was my first,the second,was cleaned and wrapped and delivered by myself with a bottle of white wine. Some have a hard time getting property due to problem tresspassers ignorant hunters. If anyone is lucky enough to get such a piece of property,treat the owner like a best friend.

Correct,you werent there.Trust me when I say,they were tracking game.The land owners family has owned the property for over 100 years.They know what goes on. Many think cause thier grandfathers had permission 50 years ago,they have the right aswell. No written note,no tresspassing.

Bow season started on the 1st J. Work has been crazy Jac. This is my first time on the property since the spring turkey hunt(and that was only a one day out aswell).Oh I did see a big family of young turkeys.Hopefully I can fill both my fall deer and turkey tags this year.I make a bad track soup. Pretty quiet on the Habs front

It,s go time. Now that the signs are up,lets hope it clicks in thier little brains, that it means KEEP OUT. After reading the replies from my first thread (Thanks Cram and Merc)Wouldnt want to kill someone.So I took the chain back and did this.Yes I know,I spelt it newfienezzzz.LOL They hit this,thier frigg,n blind. Got the rest done all around the property. I made sure they were big enough so when asked,did you see the sign? Now that signs were done and taken care of, it was time to clean up around the stands and get the feed out. I picked up this blend from TSE.SMELT GOOD ENOUGH TO EAT. Still pretty green and lots of leaves on the trees,but a good heavy rain and wind should knock them off. Feeder filled Stand one Two And three Time came to set up the trail cam. New batteries,check,1GBchip,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, DOH,left in on the pc table.Oh well.Still early yet.

The land owner which has gave me permission to hunt on his property for the last 4 years, has had some encounters with some local ATV guys on his property.He knows thier not just cycling around,thier looking for game. Myself ,I know aswell what they are doing.So both the land owner(whos land I have the pleasure of hunting on) have purchased a dozen or more, no tresspassing signs, and I have made a few large ones on plywood.Im going to run a heavy chain from post to post on one end of the property, with one of the big signs.That cost me 25 bucks,just for the chain. Why should I have too? Why should we have to? Is there that much ignorance out there? I should not have to ask this,as I know there is,but come on. Now that the land will be posted fully(tomorrow) I hope it helps. Really takes the fun out of the sport of hunting, because you have to worry about clowns like this.

The only thing that scares me the most about this leaf team is, the so called "MONSTER" between the pipes.Yes he,s big and covers alot of the net(reminds me of Dryden back in his days),but his side to side, really needs work.Better then price? Ya, no issue there.Price like any young goalie the leafs ever picked up,has been put to the wolves to early.IMO. Still 4-2 no matter.
