5. Declined an invite to fish lakers with Joey and Paul,so I could hone on my fly fishing skills. There was call for rain last night, which I was hoping for,but never happen. Oh well,I was still happy to swing away. I did about a km or so of the stretch of creek. I tried this rull cast. Not as easy as it looked in the vid,but I was getting not bad at it.Lots of practice,it will come. My first run I noticed this bug in the water, and it seemed there were little ones, like maybe they were the babies. I nothing that looked like that in my limited fly box. I just kept flicking my little fly, that kinda looked like a shrimp. I finally get my first, on a fly. Got to start some where.LOL One spot I was standing,I noticed this cool action going on. It,s a creek chub, showing a lot of aggression.Almost looked like it was spawning,or pertecting it,s young behind it.Thought I would share it.

15. Dave lets get out soon, cuz I,ll be leaving the warmer streams soon to try for bass. Thanks SC Milo,it,s something I really never thought of doing, but since I don,t plan on being a boat owner anytime soon,I am looking at other fishing options to keep my interests peeked.. Thanks for the tip on the splash.
16. Theres a small lake near here that has Walleye. Lots of stories of stringers being attacked over the side of the boat. Yep musky. Pm the vid if you like Simon.

21. After last weekends stelar fishing for lakers, both me bud Terry and I, were pumped to get out for much the same. Ye ole captain, with his new look. Shirt over PFD. First,we had to give a jig for a whitie for team 1. Lots of action on the finder.Hook up with one, half way up,,,,,,,,,,,,sorry team 1,it went bye bye . We continued for about another hour with nothing, but a herring to show for it. Watched the guys rigg,n and not many rods going off. Hmmm, maybe they dont have it down right. So we put away the jigg,n sticks and start rigg,n. Same depths, spoons and speed, as the past weekend. They werent doing anything wrong, the bite was just off. We trolled from 8:30am til 11 am,with not even a sniff. Then at 11:30 I get hooked up with a small one. (Terry has the pic) Half hour later,Terry gets into a real nice one. <param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaZbrIfbg7Q?version=3&feature=player_detailpage"> Nice fish buddy With every other boat gone,we figured we would end the day with that nice fish. Thanks again for the time on the water bud. Fun as always. Maybe we need to go looking for walters.
22. The red handle on the rigger is for releasing the brake to lower the ball.At the beginning of the day,it worked fine, but after a few up and downs,it would not release properly. Anyone else have this problem? Help my buddy Terry fix it. Ya it,s Terrys, and we all know his reputation on breaking things, but this is the first time,it,s been used by him.
23. Their still out, at your wake up time as well Bud. If you are late getting up,maybe get Lew to pick and ship. I don,t buy worms.
