I only asked,as when I had my first custom built (only have had two done,first was a lammy,second one well,very pleased) The builder showed me how the blank flopped/flipped,when he twisted it. When he had the blank bent just perfect,a little turn,it would curl over quick.

My next question is this. Theres a back bone to all rods. Their meant to bend one way or another. Spinning/bait casting. Will a spinning rod break,if I go with a bait caster set up? I have a 12'6" 4-8 wt,Convergence Casting rod

Bill.I tried the oil that comes with the beard trimmer. Just a drop on each bearing. It seemed to be to heavy. Where can I buy the sewing machine oil? Wally world?

Dont soak them. Just rub the salt and brown suger into the eggs. Lay out on a pan sheet and air dry. When tacky,seal them.

When I fish for pike through the ice,I like my fly reel combo. Not sure I would use mine pin,but you have me thinking.

I run the swivel below the float Bill. Main to my lead I find if I have a break off,I get the float and swivel back.
