Well it,s been sitting since sunday. Threw it on. fully charged still. Just an update to our discussion.

I just upgraded the movie maker. Lots of new features, but it is much slower then the old one I had.

I have the handle with me, JUST encase. Just undo the butterfly bolt, remove and put the handle on. I leave the second battery at home. Have yet to have a need for it. Like I said, I left the auger outside on Saturday. when I got home, put the battery on the charger. would not charge as it was still at full cap. I think Terry was using his dewalt with the 8". Not sure what he thought of it. I know the 6" was a piece of cake when I started with the dewalt 18. With the xrp battery packs though.

When I get the 2lbders, They go into the oven, backs split, splash of liquid smoke, fresh cracked pepper and sea salt, and get baked til dried out and put on crackers,

It has proven what I have been told so far. Well except the floating part. I,ll leave that for later, hope not. LOL It,s light, wears like a office suit and it is so warm. I was baking it it the last two days. -18 yesterday and -14 today. My clam suit was the same, but very bulky and doesnt float. Money well spent IMO.

Lets see. 40 holes x 10" with still half battery life left = ?

I had found some ice that was sheltered the past 4 days. Checked it out yesterday. Chipped out a 4" block of ice, solid black ice, so knew I would be good to go, the plan was to hit it this morning. Dang, I thought the walk out was going to be easy til I woke up to 8" of fresh snow. No matter, off I was, drilled, set up and played with some fishes. I had fun. All that matters. Have to use music til I figure out this go pro stuff.

You can get the adaptor for about $60-$75 now. The auger is a finbor3. I got a good deal on a new one. They go anywhere from $100 to $160. Depends where you buy. I think Terry got his off amazon for cheap. As for the drill, you dont want to know.

Thanks Mike. That drill sat outside 6 hours in -16 to -14 by the time we left. Got home, put the battery on the charger and it was still green. Meaning it was still full. I really like this set up. I also like all the nay sayers.
