What were the weight's of the 4 Big Fish Prizes?

Did anybody at the beginning of 2008 have any goals or acheivements that they wanted to accomplish this year. I did. I wanted to catch a pike this year and i got my self 2 of them. Another goal i had was to catch a bass at scugog(i did several times). And another goal i had was to use a new bait or technique. I for the first time got to use and perfect using the topwater origional fishing snake, and i got to try out some rapala x-raps. How about you??

This fall i started to use a bass jig around lake scugog and i had a decent amount of success. Seeing that using bass jig's in heavy cover can be really good in the summer time i think i am going to get myself some jigs for heavy cover fishing. What brand/or specidic model of a bass jig do you like to use the most in the summer for bass, what are the most productive colors, and what kind of trailer do you use and have most success with most often. Any other good info on fishing jig's would be appreciated.

I either carry along a plastic case if im walking around(short distance), use backpack when im goin on long walking trips. Or for instance if im going out in the boat i may only use what is tied onto my rods. Im looking to get a tackle bag with a shoulder strap that comes with some plastic cases...

Im not saying all bps reels are good but i have the cheep Mega Tournament spinning reel and it has worked perfectly all year...

I have never caught a largemouth that puked up anything, lot's of smallmouths however.

Wow that is a unbeleiveable story, kind of wondering as to why someone would keep a 8lb bass but atleast something good came from it.

Im really considering a 7' Medium action BPS Extreme rod, and there a 60 million modulus rod witch will suit me just fine. Im guessing thats a IM8 rod. And as garry said they go on sale often, right now there on for $70. I just hope they stay on sale untill dec 26th....can't get anything untill after christmas.

I guess if your not in range of a hosipital you got to get that hook out somehow. I had a hook right through my pinkie finger last year. The hook went clean through and hit the bone, luckly it didnt get through that, after a trip to the hospital and a numb finger later i was ok .
